I think i see what you did there, there is two rooms with portals making a cross in one room the colors one black and white in the other the colors are white and black the rooms are symmetrical but the colors are inverted

All he did was make two rooms with reversed colours.  Add the cheat to crate multiple pairs of portals and violá.

@CloudCrafter11 I believe he's using world portals to split up the rooms in addition to the normal portal gate. Or he just uses 2 pairs of portals.
