  • "All I could do was spend your money...." Hee Hee. That's pitiful, but I guess she kept giving up the money to him. Sounds like a case for Judge Joe Brown.

  • he was juust better than Jimmy Hendrix

  • very, very good!

  • dude had SOUL to burn! the lovechild of Luther Vandross and B B King!

  • This is what Wilson Pickett would've sounded like if he did the blues.

Maybe Wilson and Luther were the same guy. Just listen to them

They got that Georgia shout down pat.

  • Skinny Jeans FTW

  • Blues legend - inspired many blues artists...R.I.P. rock on forever.

  • great

  • Guy, Cray, Collins, Clapton they are with no doubt great guitarist but they all learned from one man : Albert King.

I heard it from Buddy Guy himself when I went to see him live in Edinburgh (Scotland) few years ago

  • @Edibloke Not to forget Muddy Waters

  • @yamamonkey

Yes he was not too bad, I like his style and guitar work.

I heard it from Body Guy himself when I went to see him live in Edinburgh (Scotland) few years ago

  • Honest, this maybe my tenth time listening to this song...simply I can not get enough. Bring it Luther....it is brought!

  • such energetic blues! Luther is who I've always imagined Jimi Hendrix would be like if he was more into blues than rock (not just coz of the tongue-play). My deepest love and respect to the incomparable Luther Allison.

  • You know that Robert Cray listened to a hell of a lot of Luther coming up. One of the most under-rated guitarists in Blues...sorely missed.

  • luther's the man

  • REST IN PEACE LUTHER THE BEST EVER

  • if it does i'de be real surprised

  • it doesn't get much better than this, does it?

  • For me Luther is the greatest bluesman ever ! During more than 10 years I never missed his concerts.

After 2 hours of "normal concert" came usually 2 more hours of extra.

He liked to walk around in the public, followed by his roadie.

Pls look for "Freedom" and "The Sky is Crying" with Michel Carras at the piano: CD "Live in Montreux - Where Have you been ?" produced by Ruf Records, No 10347 10082) - LIVE !!!

Thank you Luther for all the great hours with you !!!

  • My mommy turned me onto Luther Allison.

She told me 'Son, you don't know the blues!'

    She was right.

    HEH

  • Rest in peace, Luther.

    thanks for share!

  • ★★★★★☄!!!

  • That was some nice tongue-play. The chicks must've loved him. I mean, the accuracy alone is outstanding!

  • have never seen him...

    he was wonderful,the Mr.Blues...

    he has the Blues...

  • Wish I had seen him..He was awesome..

  • Best blues voice I have heard. Seen him twice.

  • Wish I had seen him

  • Yes, Allison was a very good singer and guitarist. He had charisma and his concerts were longer than most others. I liked him very much and miss him. Swedish fan.

  • was just thinking the same

  • True magic... what more can be said...

  • think he's dead ! Too young.

Seen him twice : always so good.
