Nice performance...anyone know the story behind the "Go Back to Seattle" sign? And talking guitarists....while Chris Walla does some nice work on Narrow Stairs and Johnny Marr is, well, Johnny Marr, Chris Urbanowicz of Editors and Dan Kessler of Interpol are both doing some nice work with their axes right now too.

i try to be positive when posting things on youtube, but what the fuck man...
better than morrissey?! you're god damn ridiculous. ben gibbard would not even be if it weren't for morrisey!
shit man....c'mon. recognize! death cab is one of my all time favs. super oringal and extra-ordinary, but they came straight out of the shadows of the smiths.
This is my favorite song on the album along with Grapevine Fires. I just love the lyrics, and how metaphorical they are without being confusing. And that little guitar riff? Words cannot describe it.
Man I love this band. It's funny though, all of the comments here are like "i <3 him xoxox ill marrie him lolz" so I feel a little put off. I know they recently made a huge breakthrough to mainstream, but I've loved them ever since Transatlantacism and I don't think his looks have anything to do with my love of his music. It's great music, and I don't care about much else, you know? Just because some squeling MTV girls love him doesn't mean much though.
Interesting comment. Why should it matter if a band is popular? I'm getting so tired of people who stop litseninging to band when they gain popularity, like that would change the music. Is it so important to avoid mainstream music?
It's all just about personal preference. I love just about everything this band has made, regardless of how popular they become. I still don't really think Death Cab is really as popular as people like to assume they are; they have a large fan base, but they're not as huge as say Coldplay or someone like that.
i'm not gonna lie. i think that this band is one of the most underrated bands in the world. i mean seriously, ben gibbard is probably the best lyrical songwriter out there right now imo.
Me? I'm just someone who has been a fan since before their days on MTV. If you were as well, more power to you. Cheers. But if you're a newer fan, I should thank you personally for creating the mainstream explosion of Death Cab allowing them to keep making kick ass music like this. So it's a win-win for me. Who are you to comment on my comment?
0 dislikes? Sounds about right to me :D
