  • 0 dislikes? Sounds about right to me :D

  • Sick guitar riff so fun to play at a venue

  • Nice performance...anyone know the story behind the "Go Back to Seattle" sign? And talking guitarists....while Chris Walla does some nice work on Narrow Stairs and Johnny Marr is, well, Johnny Marr, Chris Urbanowicz of Editors and Dan Kessler of Interpol are both doing some nice work with their axes right now too.

  • HALL OF JUSTICE!

  • in the course he's saying: to be a remain remain remain remainder. to be a remain remain remain remainder

  • hmm in the course or the chorus?

let's think before we type here

  • they just ripped off their own song structure from we laugh indoors, best song on narrow stairs though.

  • this songs good but i wish they had done a live rendition of your new twin sized bed

  • what the hell is he saying in the chorus?

  • To be a remain remain remain remainder

  • what an amazing band... love them! dCFC all the way... Ben gibbard is more of a genius than morrissey

  • i know ben gibbard would not be if it weren't for morrisey and the smiths!

i love both DCFC and the smiths... its just in my opinion i relate to Ben Gibbard more than morrisey.

even though Johnny Marr is the best guitarist ever :)

  • hell no man.

  • They are UNIQUE and a 'super oringal' comes from no shadows!! THE SMITHS SOUND NOTHING LIKE THESE

  • What a great song from an amazing record. Ben Gibbard is a lyrical genius.

  • i cried so hard at their concert

  • Oh god, they are just amazing.

This is my favorite song on the album along with Grapevine Fires. I just love the lyrics, and how metaphorical they are without being confusing. And that little guitar riff? Words cannot describe it.

  • sounds exactly as it sounds on the record, what a great band!!!

  • Man I love this band. It's funny though, all of the comments here are like "i <3 him xoxox ill marrie him lolz" so I feel a little put off. I know they recently made a huge breakthrough to mainstream, but I've loved them ever since Transatlantacism and I don't think his looks have anything to do with my love of his music. It's great music, and I don't care about much else, you know? Just because some squeling MTV girls love him doesn't mean much though.

    BTW, I'm a guy.

  • Interesting comment. Why should it matter if a band is popular? I'm getting so tired of people who stop litseninging to band when they gain popularity, like that would change the music. Is it so important to avoid mainstream music?

  • It's all just about personal preference. I love just about everything this band has made, regardless of how popular they become. I still don't really think Death Cab is really as popular as people like to assume they are; they have a large fan base, but they're not as huge as say Coldplay or someone like that.

  • i'm not gonna lie. i think that this band is one of the most underrated bands in the world. i mean seriously, ben gibbard is probably the best lyrical songwriter out there right now imo.

  • i'm not gunna lie, i agree

  • What about Colin Meloy?

  • If you werent id marry you ;-)))))

  • Me too Einarspuppy!

  • haha could'nt have said it better

  • death cab is awesome

  • my favorite part : "she said she never envisioned him the type of person capable of such deceit."

  • I LOVE BEN GIBBARD

  • The song sounds great and fun but is like the saddiest song on the Album other than " Your New Twin Sized Bed" and "Pity and Fear"

  • This is my fav song from the album...

  • This is isn't the Long Division I have :/ but it's still an awesome song!

  • i <3 himm.

    i'm going to marry him!!

    he is awesomeeee.

    =]

  • Never have I heard a song I didn't like by this band. They are so talented and captivating!

  • Welcome :)

  • i fucking agree 100000%

  • love goes beyond milk - words from a lactose intolerant

    (not really)

  • for all of you new(er) fans, this is a little return to the roots of their albums like Something About Airplanes and We Have the Facts.. Enjoy.

  • I thought the exact same thing...the bass line brought me back =D

  • Further agreements. This sounds so much like old Death Cab that it's almost scary.

  • No way this is more photo album

It's a lot like We laugh indoors

  • and now who are you to be making comments like this?

  • Me? I'm just someone who has been a fan since before their days on MTV. If you were as well, more power to you. Cheers. But if you're a newer fan, I should thank you personally for creating the mainstream explosion of Death Cab allowing them to keep making kick ass music like this. So it's a win-win for me. Who are you to comment on my comment?

  • its a pleasant homecoming, to say the least. :D

  • i love the way he sings:

    ohhoho

    hehe

  • ben is not married. i am in the process of breaking up his relationship with joan hiller so he can marry me.

    sorry.

  • I like the funky bass guitar at the beginning.

  • i am gona marry Ben Gibbard

  • Hes not already married? I thought he was...

  • I didnt know i was just making one of those comments i bet he could be married idk i am just in love with Ben Gibbard(so hott)
