Your costume turns me green with envy. At the same time I wanna hug you because of that Charles Dance costume just to have the experience of hugging the poofy shirt~ :D DAT SHIRT. Where'd you get that costume?!
@ShadowinEX lol I made the mask out of a plastic white full-face mask. The shirt was made from a pattern I bought out of a Halloween costume catalog. The vest was purchased. The makeup was my own.
@SelenaGomezFan10001 Lom was all in London, yes. Englund starts and ends in NYC, but the flashback/timewarp/whatever was in London. It's explicitly stated at least once.
@SilverDrgnbane I haven't seen the Robert Englund version, but it IS on here. I think I have to get to watching that. Same for Dario Argento's Phantom. It may not be good, but it is pretty funny in some parts. As for the Claude Rains, Lon Chaney, and Andrew Lloyd Webber versions, I've seen them. They're all on here, except for the Herbert Lom version, WHICH I'M HAVING NO LUCK TRACKING DOWN!!!
Here's a question what's your take on the new play? I have some faith it might be alright . . . i'm going to go into it with an open mind . . . and really hoping ALW pulls through. hoping... for Erik's sake... otherwise Erik might just pop up and attack ALW, then again he might do that already due to the 2004 film (utterly scared face)
oh, the 1925 one, i love it too - but the end killed it for me. i was NOT pleased :P other then that, YAY!
The new show... That's the question of the year for phans, isn't it?
Personally, I am not very happy the idea even exists. I'm as enthused about LND as I am about Cinderella 3 and Bambi 2. The plot sounds abysmal, and the music... Well, the previews I heard didn't impress me, but I'll at least listen with an open mind.
I thought the music was good - enough - but not PHANTOM good . . . But i have to admit i think Ramin is doing a wondeful job, and the fact that he taught himself to sing is rather impressive. I hope the show doesn't follow the 'Phantom in Manhattan" to the 'T' becayse well... ick?
Can't be as bad as some of the phantom stuff out there - thats how i'm gunna think of it . . . hell one book i read i had to give it away or risk burning it - and i refuse to burn books . . . 4 the most part . . .
What if you were just sittin there and micheal just jump through the widow with his knfe and was like , oh hi!
Lol.
Good job on the makeup but.. TAKE THAT STUFF OF BEFORE TALKING TO US. THAT FREAKED ME OUT MAN. people with masks. wow i dont think you wanna scare me lol.
Great job on the make-up. I totally agree Lon Chaney is the best version. It actually follows the book. I mean come on the noval by Gaston Leroux is what started it all I already read the book 8 times. I also agree with what you said bout the 2004 ALW version. The casting was just awful. They should have had Sarah Brightmen and Micheal Crawford the orginal Broadway ALW cast do the movie. I whole reason I fell in love with the Phantom is because of Micheal Crawford's protral of Erik.
Yes I have, here on youtube. The animation is incredibly outdated (and just plain dated), but the plot, like you said, is really close to the novel. If I owned it I would have rambled about it some, but I don't. :-(
"And it has Lon freaking Chaney Sr." You crack me up. But hey, your favorite movie is my favorite too. I want your Lon Chaney doll! Where did you find him and how much did he cost? Christmas is coming up and I need to bribe somebody to get him for me. :)
and i LOVE the lon chaney too! my personal favorite!...out of the 2 ive seen...
and i saw the movie too with a live organ score! blew me away! and as a bonus i have a 7 ft poster of him hanging in my bedroom! as u can guess i have some interesting mornings...
again LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS nice make up. maybe ill try to be him for halloween next yer...
HAHAHA I burst out laughing when you were looking for your least favourite and you picked out Darios. RATS!!! LOL. Your like a female version of me - check out my Phantom Reviews channel where I am reviewing EVERY Phantom film in depth. If I can find every one, that is.
Funny thing, my top 3 POTO films are also Chaney, Dance and Englund films. And with these films you had here my order would have really been the same. Awesome.
Please tell me you've seen the PhantomReviewer...he reviews every single thing about Phantom...hilariously!

The Herbert Lom version of The Phantom of the Opera took place in London. The Robert Englund version took place in New York.

@SelenaGomezFan10001 Wish I could help, but I have never seen it online either. I bought my copy with a collection of other Hammer Horror films.
