WTF?? No pus, no infection, no cyst....... Uhhhhh, I think this guy just got screwed so that one doc could teach the other doc how to do it. I've seen MANY of these surgeries, but never one here there was no cyst or infection visible. Just, wow!

@meadmaker93 in this case a cyst was not invoved, there was a little opening in the sinus, from where flood comes out,so they have removed the whole sinus.

@Iex97 the tubes are just a safety measure to prevent the uncomfortness of the string. the string is stitched in around the butt to keep pressure and prevent the main stitches from being loose while recovery. no biggie

I didn't have those, because I didn't get stitched up, I healed up naturally I guess, changing gauze twice a day for a long time.

What exactly are you clamping off? Are the Pilonidal cysts vascular? Just curious, I've only seen one of these surgeries and the cyst was a lot smaller and hairy. Great job of suturing by the way :)
