This is amazing and would be more amazing if you bothered to really study the way Stan and Ollie spoke. Especially with the big guy, you just seem to talk like you talk, like a guy living in the 21st century, with no attempt at Ollie's flowery way of speaking. Great job, though...I know how long this must have taken. Congrats!
There are those who will only criticise while they would NEVER have the spine to do a thing that would expose them to critique due to being completely insecure. I gave it thumbs up for many reasons! Great job boys! Well done! I know the tremendous amount of work it must have taken to produce this video clip!
I would like to see some of the work of the thumbs down folks have done. None? That's right, nothing there but hot air.
@BlazedCombo no duh! ( I was being sarcastic, lame observation blazedcombo! ::rolling eyes::) i mean though its no where NEAR the actual comedy likeness of the awesome duo, I give them credit for creating this as a tribute to them! I mean, what an honor to wanna be like one of the best comedians in the world, better imitate them then the wannabe's of today!
to be brutally honest i was gonna really flame you for what i immediately thought was an insult to the greatest comedy duo the world has known. then i slowly began to realise that this was a labour of love and something to be admire and not criticised. you love the boys as much as i do so all i can say is ''thank you'' for your this.
Always like to see the memory of L&H honored. This was fun and it reminds me of dreams of going something like this myself that was never fullfilled. Note the great music coming from the unsung hero Leroy Shields AKA Roy Shield who died in Florida in 1962 I believe before the Hal Roach fan clubs really got started. If Shields had survived I am sure he would have been greatly honored for his contributions to the early Hal Roach studios sound period.
nice. I saw it on the side, and thought I'd seen every L and H, so I had to watch the one I've never seen. You still had me until I saw the Ford Taurus, lol. Great video, nice to see their memory honored. Loved the music.
That was a very brave thing to do, to try & emulate the originals... no one can take their place unfortunately. Laurel & Hardy had all the magic ingredients & charisma to make it all so believable.. even if they were daft clowns!! They can certainly carry on resting in peace...
Well we can handle all the critics on here, we knew first hand before doing this there would be negative and positive comments. The more comments means more people are watching. Everyone has different tastes, opinions, and if someone thinks they can do better, more power to 'em. YouTube is an open site, post away!
There's obviously a lot of work gone into this and while it may not have hit the spot for many folk on here, full marks for having a go and paying tribute to these giants of the golden age.
Spend more time watching the boys at work and make it a little less stiff. Otherwise I take off my bowler to you for a valiant effort.
the acting isn´t bad at all, in fact it is very good!! it always can be improved, but these guys are doing a great job and i believe that they will improve themselves more and more...
I think you guys did a great job with this video, and that makes me very happy. You really turned a corner where people are starting to notice the fun and friendship evident in your skits. You truly honor Laurel and Hardy. I also must say, I about choked on the first "Widow" joke. Excellent timing by Shaun!
A lovely tribute to the boys! I don't understand all the hate on the video - very well done :)

as a comedy it would have been better as a silent film, focusing more on the expressions. As a tribute it's pretty good though.
