These are wonderful. They are very pleasing to the eye and have a definite flow to them. The finish is superb. I may have to try this "French Polish" you speak of. It looks "Tres Bien"!! Great work, my friend. You should be proud.
@copburner gooday there, mostly I coat indoor furniture in shellac, french polish, I mostly do 20coats , rubbed out in between , then steel wool (#0000) a few times , throughout, then polish with Bees-wax polish and , you have something long lasting and good,
it's amazing sheeple buy partical board, when they can have a nice free form solid wood table that will last ten life times.. i was building tables for sale here in the us vi, with local west indiand mahogany. im building all the wood work in the house we live at now. i'm almost done, doing the kitchen now. i did a 400 pound enterance door all the windows, doors cabinetry of my own design. love the local mahogany here, it's a treasure!!! will be making the dining room table soon.
@cruxan007 I agree, i am getting my first piece made for me. It's a computer desk made of camphor laurel. Whats camphor like in terms of quality? The only reason i chose it was because the price was right and i liked the colour and granes. Thanks
