I think whaling is a good thing as long as it is kept to a sustainable limit. Consider this, one whale is one life, but it feeds many people, a cow is one life, but it feeds only a few. I do object to whaling but I can't help but think Greenpeaces efforts are a little too extremist and not even that useful. A much more positive use of time would be to lobby the governments to outlaw this act.

greenpeace have done so much to stop whaling and have done it all in non-violent confrentations. sea sherped, while taking a much more aggressive approach to stopping the whalers, do themselves no favours as their opinions are not respected at international level due to them being seen as loose cannons in effect. while sea shepard may be responsible for the removal of one or two whaling vessels a trip which they ram, greenpeace is responsible for the removal of hundreds(internationalbanonwhaling
