(Part 3 on my comment) Trend Micro SUCKS BIG DICKS! When I tried to return the Trend Micro software to the Bestbuy store (on Rosedale Hwy in Bakersfield CA) where I purchased it, They would not honor the "money-back guarentee", that it was just a "Gimmick" to get people to buy it so that they could get more buisiness for their Dick-sucking Geeksquad crew...It is all a part of keeping the cashflow comming to the Geeksquad pricks!!

Part 2 on my comment) Trend Micro SUCKS BIG DICKS!!! Less then a week after installing the software, I found out the hard way that Trend Micro is BOGUS and a scam in its self; My computer got a very nasty virus that wiped out my entire system! I lost ALL my photos, music, important documents, and more! After Getting help from HP under my warrenty, I was recommened NORTON Antivirus and I find it is the BEST!!!! and I will use NORTON exclusively as long as I have a computer! NORTON RULES!!

Last year I was forced to buy and paid over $60.00 for antivirus software from Trend Micro at Best Buy (with a "money-back guarentee" printed right on the box) when I asked about it at Best Buy, the salesperson simply stated: "we cannot answer your questions...you have to pay Geeksquad a fee of $65.00 to answer your questions.

spam has turned in to trend micro 2011. very poor internet security look on the websites and there is more patches for trend than anything i have ever seen it will slow your pc to a stop thats if they don't give you a bad update as they have done twice now!!..

I want a virus software that removes virus's...not just makes them inactive?

The only kickass tool from Trend Micro is "Hijack This." - The best combination of security: Kaspersky (for anti-virus.) Then Spy Sweeper (for the anti-spyware.) And "Kerio" Sunbelt Personal Firewall. ;)

I dont think there is a best way of security like this as every configuration requires different levels of security with different features etc...and by the way kaspersky is only good in detecting Windows-Viruses for Worms,Trojans and Backdoors i wouldnt recommend it at all

good simple advice but trendmicro? well 2007 seemed okay 2008 is terrible for instance... it will not even install and no body from the company has any idea why that a a bunch of other issues yeah, thanks for stealing my money and wasting a lot of my time how can i get a refund?

i already bought kaspersky

i tried about 10 times with the online help

the reason it won't install by my own analysis is because I first installed office 07

it will not install because it says outlook express is running which was not true at all

i got so many absurd things to try i can't list them

but i got office 07 from my school for free one time only so i could not just uninstall it nor do i see why i should have had to

kaspersky installed no problem

I agree 100% with you, I would also prefer Office 2007 then Trend Micro, but since you did not install it you did not activate it. You could install it on 3 other computers and start your 1 year subscription.

the problem is

i only have 2 computers and only 1 is important

the odd thing is i did install it and had it going for about 2 months on both

my pc was getting slow and the simpliest thing for me is system recovery so i did that prior to getting the download of office from my school

so i only had 1 other time to use it and i wanted to use it on that computer but

i could not

it was not my computer because i did have it running on here before
