Ich hab gehört, er soll für seine Möglichkeiten eine recht normale Stimme im Vergleich zu seinen Reden gehabt haben. Da gab es , ich glaube mich zu erinnern, einmal einen Gesprächsmittschnitt, aber ich bin mir nicht allzu sicher. Seine Darstellung von Hitler in "Der Untergang" ist erschreckend real. - Auch als Tizinao Terzani in "Das Ende ist mein Anfang" war er unübertrefflich. Ich habe beide Filme mehrfach gesehen, weil die Wandlung dieses Schauspielers mich unglaublich fasziniert. Danke Bruno Ganz !!

Indeed. There was one point in the interview where he conceded that Hitler could be made to look like a clown or a comical character (Which obviously since they were representing him seriously, was out of the question), but which ultimately came to happen with the parodies.
