@ghostgrabber It's off of Touch, along with Vox. I don't think (?) Vox is an actual album, although I know plenty of singles and alt-releases have carried its name.
i did go to highschool with her, she was never mean or angry just kinda alternative and cool...we weren't the best of friends but i know she would remember who i am, just like i remember her
oh yeah, i'd read somewhere that she hated high school and if people nowadays ever said that they went to high school with her, she'd assume that they were mean to her back then
@chazDRAVIS I went to school with her. Sarah was in my 10th grade math class.
I thought she was a snotty bitch then. We never really spoke or got to know each other. She started High school kind of a preppy rich spoiled type. She befriended a guy named Kenny Seinedes (sp?) aka Kenny Cyanide a leader in the QEHS punk rock scene.. He is actually partly responsible for her discovery. He got to Know Nash the Slash from FM. and I believe thats who put her and Netwerk in contact with each other.
The music video should be clips from the episode of Due South "Gift of the Wheelman", which by the way was probably the best episode of the series....
"...The greatest gift my father ever gave me was the courage to trust my own abilities. And I learned that through his example. You know, you can give your son anything you want. But if you don't leave him a good example of how to be a man, you leave him nothing. That's what you'll leave Del. Nothing." -Fraser
@HOLLISTERbeadz Don't know if that's a perm, friend. =) She always talks about how her hair really is crazy curly. I can definitely identify with that, mine is the same way!
this is my fav sarah song- she was 21 when she made this video, adn underbelly, what month and year did u record this lovely song, i know it was either 89' or '90 but which one?
I LOVED Due South! Not a surprise that that show featured a lot of Sarah's music, given that the main character was a Canadian Mountie. Paul Fraser was great in that show, and Sarah's music was a perfect complement.
Paul Fraser? HEE. Think you're getting your names confused there :P I love 'Due South' as well. Such a great show. I've found that Sarah's music is #1 in a lot of fandoms: my first fandom of all time was "The X-Files," and her music (while not featured within the show) always resonated largely within the fan-base.
You may be thinking of the band that always did a lot of that odd music for TP, and was featured a few times. They have an episode where the lead singer is featured in an outfit/setting that looks remarkably similar to Sarah's here.
love it, first saw it on her video collection, I bought it for my boyfriend, and we both fell in love with the video. We are both HUGE sarah fans..she looks and sounds amazing as usual!! I think that younger guy with the older woman is robert sean leonard the actor
I can't believe how young she is here. I never knew she made videos this far back. Strong song, holds up even today, with those soaring, dramatic vocals of hers. Very nice...
I first heard this behind a car chase on an edition of `Due South'. The rest, as they say, is history but includes the purchase of all her albums and a concert. A fabulous musician and so under-appreciated. Go Sarah! Anyone know what year this is?
I'm the stand-up bass player! I played with Sarah on the Touch album and the consequent tours. I co-wrote and played bass and sang on 'Trust'. (and several other tracks that didn't make it on to Solace.)
fyi: Sherri Leigh on drums, Stephen Nikleva on guitar, Darren Philips on keys and me, Jeff Krosse.
It was filmed at the famed 'Railway Club' in Vancouver. Directed by Dermot Shane. Dave Kershaw makes an appearance as the bartender.
shes remarkable, I love her music

That’s some subtle, beautiful direction for that period. Took me a year just to see the dynamic. Fitting for SM.
