We would of liked to have a overdrive but this one didn't. I seen a video of one with OD and I think it ran about 60mph.
If the flatheads did 45 mph at 4000 rpm, then if you used a Sherman overdrive, how fast could you go then? In 4th with the stock engine at WOT, I do a solid 25mph.

@dddavel those flathead v-8s didnt really need more than 120hp to get anything moving too fast. solid reliable motors they were.
