I do think that Knopfler plays essentially the same lick a lot of the time - but I happen to like that lick a lot. He's quiet in this track but he's working in the middle.

He's recorded with Chet Atkins, so he's fast when he wants to be. He's been working with Hank Marvin, which shows true class. Lifetime Style and Roots Award, Hank and Bruce!! Stars fell on Stockton!
