i woule tell the firefighters, the people that stay and dont leave when asked shouldnt be saved and u should forget about them and their houses and save the peoples' homes that listened!

it's ridiculous how many people like that i see on fires, they think about their posessions and not themselves, and in a good number of cases it costs them their lives. some people just plain don't think in those situations.

I know in Australia, you either decide to stay early or decide to go early. You sound like you know what you're talking about - under what condition do you tell people to leave their homes? We're always taught here that there are lots of things we can do if we stay to help protect our properties. The worst thing to do is to wait until the fires are close and THEN decide to leave, like they told that guy to do - a lot of people get caught in their cars then. What would make them advise him so?

well the conditions i tell people they need to leave is any time i know they're in danger, like this guy obviously was. when a large crowning fire is headed towards your house that's usually a good indication to evacuate.

I am glad they had the greatest minds on the job to see so many evacuated and so many homes destroyed.
