if you didn't know, Vocaloids are (origianlly) a Japanese thing. And seriously, have you SEEN how half of their singers/musiciains/bands dress?! XD;;;

And, cosplay is kind of really popular there, even among stars, so I think it's to be expected and such. I mean all the Vocaloids drawings seem to be biased off of Japanese fashion like how Rin&Len have like leg warmers and such, and Kaito's scarf look and stuff.

Keep in mind, were talking about his actual design. You cant seriously try to tell me that his outfit is something that you would see someone walking around in for normal clothes in -modern- Japan. Those clothes look more like fudal Japan, even then theyre unrealistic in extravigance. In that sense, he is very much like Gackt: Unessicarilly extravigant. But otherwise not at all-- Gackts MM style was much more 1800s French Aristocrat, and now he looks much more normal when it comes to clothes.

i agree its a little strange, and the artist berserk probably didnt even know what a vocaloid was when he designed him. but people do still dress in traditional Japanese clothing, and the vocaloid was modeled after gackt. its not like you see people in white trench coats or sailor fuku, (well i guess in Japan) but it really doesnt matter. these are voice synthesizers we're talking about
