I got a free Dell XPS M1530 laptop from here and just wanted to let you know that you too can get it ..Get your Own DELL laptop For free Now!! Only for US Peoples.
They are up to something. Why else add this on? These cameras are out of line, and unconstitutional. I heard they are putting cams in private homes in the Europe! This is beyond invasive.
or for a less permanent/damaging solution you could cut up some duct tape/gaffer tape, cover it over the lens and just remove it when you need to.
Either that or disable the device driver (not sure how you do that on a Mac though) one suspects that it will be in the form of a loadable kernel module in which case you'll need to search some Mac OS X forums to find out a) what the name of it is and b) how to stop it autoloading when you boot up.
Oh and the UK government aren't 'denying they exist' the BBC News on 10th December 2008 reported on this kind of camera. Search "City gets 'crime-detecting' CCTV" on the BBC News website. Bearing in mind that foreigners think the BBC is 'State owned', why would they be reporting on something that is apparently under wraps?
Acer - a Taiwanese company (remember that the Taiwan ROC has no official diplomatic relations with the US) just gave in to the *NWO* and built *OPTIONAL* face recognition in to the laptop.
How exactly would it 'track you all the time'? Do you carry your laptop around with the lid OPEN ALL THE TIME? and considering YOU WOULD BE THE OWNER of the laptop, Could you not BLOCK OUT THE CAMERA? It takes a little imagination I know..
I wasn't trying to. I was merely theorising that you could block out the camera by closing the lid or put play-doh in front of it. Also you can disable any extra security devices that are not required by the operating system by either uninstalling the security or reinstalling a version of the OS that wasn't created using a preinstallation kit.
If you were that worried about it, then you wouldn't buy the machine. I have a business laptop approx 8 months old and it has none of this nonsense.
The problem with losing privacy is that the reactions people have to actions becomes more easily logged so that after sometime for a desired effect to be invoked all that is required is searching a database of incidents to know how to bring about a desired state of mind/activity/acceptance etc; in a population. This is why the loss of anonymity is so important;whether it's a good thing I don't know;social stability (of a kind) rolf; enhanced programmability/predictability
Did the computer overheat and blow up/melt/break down? I suppose that's the fault of the NWO as well. I mean they *obviously* invented the concept of energy in to heat a few thousand years as a way of controlling the citizens so because of your non-compliance the NWO punished you. Correct?
The new Sony flat screen desktop computers have a camera like this. However, these Sonys also have a little window flapper that you can flip closed. Perhaps other companies have flippers too??? FYI
This is scary, my Apple MacBook Pro came with a built in web cam, I've covered it up.
There was this thing on Fox news about how the government are able to listen in on your phone, even if you're not in a call, even if your phone is switched off!
Are you protesting on July 4th? If you haven't heard already here's a link:
Probably not unless you go the Hackintosh route and install a hacked version of the Intel version of Mac OS X. Final Cut Pro's available only for Mac OS X.

get a marker pen and scribble over the lens?

Yes. This is all completely plausible.

These are all just theories..
