I wanted a song to celebrate not the unjust atrocities that were carried out against millions of Jews during those terrible times, but a song to celebrate Anne's tremendous spirit in the face of those very atrocities. Despite the unthinkable terror she had to endure everyday, Anne, as you know, never let up and continued to hope, to dream, to love, to laugh. She continued to live.

I always wondered what made Ane Frank's diary so different from other holocaust diarys? Ane wasn't the only one but she is one of the few who actuly planned on her journal being published. She edited her own diary. I think that she certainly was couragous, but millions of others went through the same things, if not worse things than Anne Frank. We have to remember all of the other people who didn't or couldn't write down their thoughts or feelings. We have to remember the forgotten.
There weren't really any other diaries like hers. My grandma was in Jewish in Poland at the time, and she also kept a diary. I read it after she died, and it wasn't as interesting as Anne's. Anne Frank's diary was a lot like a story because it was exciting and stuff. I'm sure a lot of other people kept diaries at the time. When the Nazi's came, they took everything, so a lot of journals were stolen then. Margot was also said to have a diary, which was never found.
If she had been a "tipical american teenager" her diary would've been very different. Her reaction to the Nazis would have been to dress in black, dye her hair black, and have her bangs covering her left eye. She would've always written about how sad she was and how painful her life was. She would've also detailed her self-mutilation and her plan to commit suicide, that would've somehow never come to fruition. Typical American teens these days love to whine about petty nuisances.

I went to a Fine Art School and we did this play and it was absolutly great... but i worked with some ppl to do the sound effect for the air raids.... We had it soooooo loud ....we added more theatres in are theatre just to add to the sound... and when i heard it in the theatre and i was sliding in my seat it frightning...GREAT VID!!!
True. It also made the people feel less human. Especially women and girls. It was a great way to loose their dignity. Also with the tattoo it was another way to humilate. To the Nazis those with the tattoo didnt have a name or an identity anymore they were just a number. My heart goes out for people like your grandfather and all those that died during that horrible time.

She revised version b and edited it to cut out certain parts that she found weren't interesting to the reader. That doesn't make it anyless a irrefutable fact her diary is a personal documentation of her interpretation of the events that sourrounded her at the time. Most diary and biographical writers revise and edit their work before publication, doesn't make it anyless historicallly accurate.

Anne Frank did not have any help, that has been proven by the very fact forensic investigators conclude she is the only one who wrote it. And I find it awfully contradictory on the part of you historical revisionists that first of all u claimed it could not possibly of been her because the writing is far too mature then u claim the same because its not mature and absolutely consistent enough.

And Anne Frank so far as can be proven and as far as testimony on her demeanour throughout her time in hiding that was reported by her helpers and father and everyone who knew her thought she was extremely mature and wise above her age. Most people who have read her diary remark on that. Its all down to personal opinion at the end of the day but yours is in the minority.

Of course she was. (rollseyes) You NEED her. It's ok to admit it. You NEED her story to be true. It helps you "believe". It helps you all believe that good triumphs over evil. That the good will always shine on in our hearts. That she was an innocent little girl living in a cold cruel world...etc etc etc. If she were alive today, she probably would've hated all of this attention and hated all of you Santa Claus believing children for refusing to grow up. She would be right of course.

You have yet to realize that the terms good and evil are there to distract you from the real truth...just like the terms democrat and republican. There is no "good" and there is no "evil"...in those terms. But I know....she was a saint. Many people die horrible tragic deaths. Most go unsung. Many are suffering horribly as I type this. I wish it were not so...but it is. Her story is not special. It's not even her story as it turns out.

Anne Frank and her story and her suffering and death are not unique in itself as many more people have and will suffer like her. However her precise and articulate documentation of her experiences whilst hiding allow for the reader to personify all those who suffered in the holocaust and similar geocides. And if it was written by her how can it not be her story lol.

And yes, I actually cherish the fact that I live in one of the few European countries (UK) where holocaust denial is not illegal and ilk like u r allowed to expose ure ideas to the public domain, it allows us to see who u truly are and also gives us an opportunity to expose the lies and illogical dimensions in your belief systems.

I dont need to believe in anything mate. What I do follow and rely on is proven historical fact and I despise historical revisionism because it is often used to premote a disgusting agenda and lies. I went to a Fine Art School and we did this play and it was absolutly great... but i worked with some ppl to do the sound effect for the air raids.... We had it soooooo loud ....we added more theatres in are theatre just to add to the sound... and when i heard it in the theatre and i was sliding in my seat it frightning...GREAT VID!!!

True. It also made the people feel less human. Especially women and girls. It was a great way to loose their dignity. Also with the tattoo it was another way to humilate. To the Nazis those with the tattoo didnt have a name or an identity anymore they were just a number. My heart goes out for people like your grandfather and all those that died during that horrible time.
