  • My own personal opinion, the animals will be killed by another animal anyway. They charge on average $4,500 to shoot one animal. That covers the price of caring for the other animals and being able to breed more. I think that it is fine, they only let 10% of the animals get shot. In the wild, it's uncontrollable. For what we know strangers could be killing 80% of herd population. This means that the populaition on the ranches are increasing. No hate here it's just my opinion.

  • @theraVen27 Son, I have lived in an agricultural community all of my life. I spent time from when I was old enough to hold a gun killing pests & helping to slaughter animals. I hunt on the land where I live, bought specifically for that purpose. I'll tell you any damn thing I like and thank you to stay the fuck off my property and out of my business.

  • "Anti-hunting: It's never ethical" ROFLOL! Bang on conviction of just how stupid you anti-hunters are. Anti-hunting IS never ethical, since you depend on hunters to defend the crops you eat, while you hypocritcally sit in your houses eating food that depends on us... the hunters and the pesters.

  • Texas ranches made it possible for the Oryx to survive and thrive without them they would be gone. Then you would have your wish, they would not be hunted.

  • No,youre making it into something it is not...

90% of people (those that I am talking about) just buy meat in the shop, sometimes they didnt even see that specific animal alive (when you buy something less standart)!!!

And your image of hunting is, I believe, idealised... Or like anti-idealised.

  • I have the right to eat in order to survive. The way I go about doing so, is my choice. Whether I hunt, go to the grocery store, eat meat, be a vegan, or grow my own food in my backyard garden, it is my choice. We are fortunate enough to live in a world where we are not forced to hunt to survive, therefore, we should also not be forced to eat Mcdonalds, or processed food. Our right=our choice. If you want to hunt for a trophy, so what! It's the same as picking the ripest tomato.

  • @mecostacounty

now your trying to put common sense into polotics..that will never work!!

  • Hunting in such conditions IS degrading for the hunter, as that really isnt worthy of calling a hunt. But seriously, real hunting is the only right way to kill something. She says, that we dont need to sustain ourselves. Well guess why: There are milions of animals slaughtered everyday, that are born and killed without even ever having any life or purpouse aside from (over)feeding us. And their deaths are not even being noticed.True hunter has to feel with the prey and live through killing it.

  • @Pellaeon159

has to feel with the prey?

look i'm all for hunting. do what you want

but to say you feel with the prey that you just shot and are now watching struggle for the last breaths and the last moments of agony that YOU put it thru... you don't feel that.

don't turn this into something it's not.

  • @theraVen27 You dont feel the pain itself obviously, but you HAVE to live through the experience of killing and taking its life for your own need. Not like now, when you just take a steak out of a refrigerator and hardly notice that there was pain, blood, and suffering behind it...

  • @Pellaeon159

i go out at 3am and help deliver the new born calf.

i wake up at 5am every morning and bottle feed them.

i go out again at 4pm and bottle feed them.

i doctor them i nurse them i protect feed and medicate them

then i kill and butcher them. don't tell me about how close you are with this deer you saw for the first time 20seconds ago from a mile away.

again don't turn this into something it is not.

you hide in a bush and shoot something a mile away while it eats

  • We are humans, we are at the top of the food chain, and we are omnivores. I think, as long as the animals are killed in a humane manner, let them be hunted on these ranches!

  • as for the farms and Ranches it not as easy as she said thay still can hide and can be hard to find or the hunter can simply just miss and they can even get out

  • @kellyolsons Most of the time they're shot as soon as they leave the cage.

  • @sfklein1 The cage? WTF are you talking about? Have you ever been hunting, do you have any reference for which you speak? It is one thing to voice your opinons but dont proliferate stupidity with statements that have absolutely zero validity.

  • she dos not know what she is taking about. she seas" that it not necessary" hunting helps with over population of animal. you might say well nacher is for the next thing would be naceher can get over populated. but if you thing about it we as people are a animal their for are a part of nacher. whether you like or not we are i know that my spelling is bad you just have to deal with it i only say that cus i knoew some one or ones will comment on it people all ways do

  • Pro-hunting: It's ethical when done right! This woman is talking out her ass hole. She don't know shit!

  • I would love to see animals with high powered rifles and all the other bells and whistles hunt down and kill and mount the head of a human on its wall. Big game hunting is nothing more than a human with an inflated ego and the need to show off their "trophy"! What some people won't do for a rush! :(

  • @billeybop what do you do for a rush? some people drive a fast car, some people play video games, some people hunt, sure you have the option to use a high powered rifle and shoot an animal from 300+ yards out or the option to take a shotgun at 20-30 yards, either way it provides a challenge and the trophy is more power to them its not like the real meat is going to waste in a field anywhere

  • @billeybop I'm a hunter. I have no trophies. Unless you count the venison in my freezer, which has no fat (unlike beef), no growth hormones, and is cheaper per pound than any meat at any store. I don't do it for show, and it's not a rush. It's cold mornings of stalking through the dark forest, finding a good spot, and hoping that something big enough to be worth all the work comes by. Then it's hours of skinning, dressing, and butchering. Don't assume we're all just looking to kill for fun.

  • @ltsmeltzer I don't mean those that do it for the purpose of feeding their families. My in-laws are big on hunting and do it for the same reason as you. The game commision introduce many of the animals for cash. More are hit by automobiles and disease than shot. They know nothing about management. Sorry if you took it to mean true hunting.

  • @billeybop Glad to hear you recognize the difference. Too many people don't. My only real problem with trophy hunters is if they let the meat go to waste. Around here we have a "hunters for the hungry" program so there's no excuse for it. If someone wants to kill an animal for the antlers and donate the meat, I'm ok with that. I think it's pointless, but the animals get a better life than living in captivity and the meat gets used all the same. And their license fees fund conservation.

  • @ltsmeltzer Sorry if I offended you and agree 100% with the program. I never gave much thought to other animals until I lost my pet of 12 years. I taught school and when kids would come in crying after losing a pet I would think they were crazy. I now know why they cried so hard. Had my first pet at 45. We're never to old to learn! :)

  • now I can agree with the Hunting ranches they are BS. you want to hunt go do it the real way.

  • After watching this, now I'll be setting my alarm clock an hour early tomorrow morning to go out & kill any 4 legged creatures I see walking. Dumb cunt.

  • These animals are disappearing in the wild because people in Africa are hunting them for food. The folks in Texas are offering an ark, of sorts, to assist these animals. It cost a lot of money to float an ark and if it means sacrificing a few so the rest can survive, so be it! They have just replaced the lions with hunters.NEXT YOU'LL BE TELLING THEM THEY CAN'T BUILD AN ARK BECAUSE THE TREES ARE IN DANGER! PLEASE! USE YOUR HEAD!

  • I agree, I think if you don't waste the resource, then its fine.

  • This lady is crazy

  • @stets6565 Crazy? How? She made a very good point. If you're going to hunt an animal, it should be for a for food, or sport, sure. If an animal is just being bred to be killed, and has no real chance, that is a bit sadistic.

  • @MarcusKiner and when deer over populate? They get Disease and start to die.. and guess what if hunters won't do it the Government will.

they did it for the Wolf problem Idaho a few months ago.

  • @MarcusKiner She may not be crazy, although her "points" have no basis of truth. I personally feel sorry for her. She speaks on this with obvious good intention. Yet, She doesnt seem to possess the facts.
