  • Thank you for this review. I'm a 17 yr old In - training glock 17 lover. These reviews have given me an incredible and in depth amount on information (More than my trainer gives). Do glock's have an actual "Safety"? Because I believe I once saw/heard/read something about glock's having safety's. Maybe just for certain designs?

  • What are the benefits of using JHP at the range? #Honestquestion

  • The fact that over that many years and that many rounds fired, there are so few failures to fire that you can actually remember specifics like that, says a lot about how reliable it.

  • @mrswails you have a glock 19. You already have the right pistol.

  • placed their trigger on the trigger and triggered the trigger trigger. hahaha

    good review.

  • I broke down and bought a Gen 4 Glock 31 (357SIG) with .40 cal conversion barrel (Glock 22) and a 9mm conversion barrel (Glock 17) from Wolf. Looking forward to testing and evaluating these 3 pistols in one. .

  • The Glock is accurate to the core. Maybe next to H&K.

  • The only 2 jams that Glocks have is a Double Feed, and a Stove Pipe.

  • @mrswails dude u have to be 21 to purchase and posses a handgun and glock 17 9mm is a very good pistol

  • Placed the TRIGGER on the trigger...hahahahaah...xD

  • hey im looking at buying my first glock.. what type of glock do you think i should get ... its not my first pistol just first glock

  • what does nut think of the first generation glock 17 i have one and just wondering of what he thinks of them

  • @edog355

I was one of the unlucky ones.I bought a new model 19 and it was a lemon. I went to Sig and never looked back.

  • @edog355

I was one of the unlucky ones.I bought a new model 19 and it was a lemon. I went to Sig and never looked back.

He just said Sig was the most reliable. You rock man!!

  • hey nutn, ive been shooting with my dad and his friends and im in the fence between getting a glock 17 or a taurus pt1911, im also think about getting the glock for my lbv

  • Hey, great videos, as usual. I just got my glock 17 a few days ago, and I absolutely love it. These videos reaffirmed to me that I made a good choice. I notice you mentioned using Meprolight night sights.. do you prefer those over the TFO truglo? How does meprolight hold up during daylight, are they clearly visible in your opinion?

Thanks a lot for contributing your thoughts to the gun community, we all learn a lot from all of these vids!

  • i wish the cops in long beach carried glock 17s but they Carrie m9s

  • @nutnfancy What's the difference between .45 AGP and .45 ACP?

  • and BTW nutn they didn't accept the glock from the lack of a thumb safety they asked glock repeatedly to add a thumb safety but they refused mostly in part of the retooling need to get the number of test guns ready for testing was not likely to happen on time

  • what gen g17 is that?

  • @banjoman33 3 the easiest way to tell all gens apart as follows gen 1 very rare and illegal because of no steel plat on the dust cover with the serial number and a single texture grip (think they are in some stats a collectors item and legal to own) gen 2 checkering on the grip and the steel plate gen 3 finger groves and thumb rest gen 4 bigger diameter and double capture spring assembly also after the model say it's a g17 i will say gen 4 after

  • Great video i am new to TNP and just subscribed to your channel and think about getting a glock 17 or ruger sr9

  • @mrswails wow, your 12 and you have a glock 19? I hope they keep it locked up.

  • Speed, Sig wins? Not for me. Way too long trigger reset on the Sig.

  • @mrswails Your dad is Mrs Wails?

  • Great series of vids.

  • What about the price, the firepower, the reliability of a 10 mm?

  • "they put he're trigger on the trigger." lol

  • you make a really interesting point about all the tests that Glock puts their pistols through. for the sake of discussion, I'd hate to be the dude who has to fire that gun that was just dragged, dropped in mud, sand, or water... I'd only do that to an AK-47... but great review! I wasn't considering a Glock until I watched your G17 review series... I find the trigger-in-trigger safety a little cumbersome and am a little partial to the Sig and the Beretta 92... but awesome review, man.

  • Can you do a glock 22c review.....co'z i'm thinking of getting one i would appreciate it

  • Hey man where did you purchase your glock? Glockworld has it for sale for $489. Would you recommend an online purchase or in store?

  • @MrBladeDude

Don't throw out the idea of buying a used gun. Used Glocks are EVERYWHERE. You get a good discount on a gun that is sometimes almost new. Some people buy a gun... shoot it a few times and get rid of it.

  • iam 15 i want a glock 17

  • I prefer the glock 19, fav gun...

  • Nice. Thanks.

  • Did Nutnfancy do a video comparing 9mm with .40cal? That would be a nice one. Thanks!

  • I wasted my money recently on a FNP-40. The magazine rattles when loaded with ammo and placed into gun. It feels cheap. I'm getting a glock 23.

  • how can you get the olive drab ?

  • I just acquired a Gen 4 Glock 17. I have a problem. My weak, arthritic hands are not able to reinstall the recoil spring. Any chance you can recommend a method of doing so which might work for me? Thanks in advance.

  • If they lower the price to $100, I may get one for myself.

  • hey nut love the info im looking for a glock pistol im stuck bettween a glck 21 and glock 17 any advise

  • Great review! Veary nice handgun. I have one on the way a new one for $485.00 a Gen, 3 in OD green. I can't wait...

  • look up "glock kaboom" in a google search...by the way nutn' we dont call them "jams" since jam is a fruit based spread for toast...we call them malfunctions of the 8 steps to the cycle of function as in FFD= fail to feed---FEJ= fail to eject---MIS= misfire etc.....saying "jam" conveys no useful information to anyone as it isnt descriptive as to which step in the cycle of function failed...also we see police with glocks not because of reliability...glock gives them to police almost for free.

  • was Nutnfancy in the military? and if so what was his MOS?

  • glock is a good gun but it's not as accurate as the more expensive guns, i love my sig p210

  • G17 gen 4. I have been familiarizing myself with this piece and have found that when field stripping the slide and on reassembly there is a glitch in the gen4. I would say that 1 in 6 to 8 times while reassembly of the slide that it will not line up and stop. I just purchased this, range fired once and it doesn’t work as everyone in the world has suggested. I called GA. HQ talked with tech support and they said “you will need to push the trigger forward to reattach the slide.”

  • @qwiknf I've had some issues with my Gen 4 Glock 22 where the slide will NOT go back on unless racked very hard. I've only had the pistol for about 2 weeks now and that worries me. This is my first Glock afterall. I'm taking it to a Glock armorer next week to have him take a look at it.

  • Safe action, yeah right. Gaston Glock was a moron. Who the hell in their right mind puts a trigger block on the trigger? Don't even put it on at all if you're gonna do that. Anyone can, under adrenaline, put their finger in the trigger and pull unintentionally. What is the point in a double action if you can't have that second pull? Double/single is better than DAO. This just isn't a good design, and much overblown.

  • Any plans to review the Glock 34?

  • Thanks for the great information. You have cemented my decision to get the Glock vs other ideas I have had. Now if I can only get CINC-HOUSE to release the fundage.

  • are you from N.D?

  • As always, thanks for your service and sharing.

  • my school officer carrys a glock

  • @mrswails dude im 13 and i get a ton of shit for loving guns knives etc thats why nutn kicks ass ihave a ruger 10/22 and gunna get a g17 in a mounth or 2

  • The Glock trigger does take some getting used to....Glocks can be dry fired without damage and is good for practice as well.

  • thanks nut, I just bought a g17 thanks to your review of it

  • @du9207 your welcome

  • well yea of course all pawn shops r like that wen ur trying 2 pawn sumthing becus they have 2 make a profit. but actually thats a good price 4 a glock im not selling the glock im buying big difference between buying & selling. and 350 bucks 4 a glock 17 is always a great deal.

  • actually in my state u have 2 be 21 yrs old to buy a handgun and of course u gotta show ur id.

  • I dont know why but Im just no Glock fan. I respect it but I just dont like it. I guess thats what happens from an oldschool guy who grew up with 1911's and berettas. I choose the USP over the Glock.

  • @24Rorschach

    there's a price difference there..

i know what ya mean though

    *glock's square grip is weird

    *glocks are LOUD

    *glocks eject stupidly

    *glock's trigger is weird

i still like a glock though- now that i've had one for awhile. i don't like the finger grooves at all, i filed them down and i filed the grip off the left side.

you can get used to most of those things but you'll never get used to the fact that they eject the way they do and they are so loud to fire.

  • i bought my g17 for $350 at my pawnshop that i deal buisness with. the best 350 buck ever spent......

  • 350 at your local PAWN shop huh, you should have known better, dont ever, ever buy from a pawn shop... its very unfortunate but they prey on people in bad situations, i saw a guy pawn a lnib m&p 9mm they firmly offered 200 i felt bad , and wanted it, and gave him 375 (it could have been more , but it WAS more) all that being said they fuck people real bad , they are not there to help any one there there to Fuck you .............................................

  • @twelvgage1984 350?! dude ur so lucky... I'm Jelous ;)

Nowdays, I don't think you'd find one for less than 450 bucks..

  • @Vccine u just gotta find those deals. i mean sure ur probably not gonna find a glock for that cheap on ur first day but u mite find an old colt or berettea, and maybe about 6 months down the road in u check the same pawn shops every 2 weeks u mite find that glock ur looking for.

  • @twelvgage1984 I see. Thanks for the tips

  • Hi Nutnfancy. Nice Pistol. God videos. how is the trigger pull on Glock 17 is it hard to pull-Shoot. i like you safty, on guns. i am thinking about joning a Gun Club. i have never use a pistol before.

  • Finally got a glock 17 from looking at your reviews. I had a hard time deciding on it over the CZ sp01. In the end the weight and availability of parts won me over, as well as the lower cost. I plan on doing a few mods, otherwise a excellent pistol.

  • does he have a video on how to disasemble the glock 17 to change the trigger pull? can someone point me in proper direction

  • I know the Glock 17 is really close to the Glock 19 but WE NEED a Glock 19 review anyway!

Thumb up this comment to make Nutn do a review on it lol.

  • ive been in the market for a high capacity 9mm for awhile now, and i think im sold.

  • is the 33 round glock 18 clip legal in florida does any1 know?

  • @eyeRtehgeNuiS

    yes it is

  • its ilegal im pretty sure i think your suppose to only have 10 round clips. i THINK i dont know for sure. that might only be for hunting

  • LAST 4 WORDS"awsome awsome pistol design. 100% True. G-17 9mm....does`nt get ANY BETTER....great vids! Thanks for doing them. I blew it long ago--so i cant"own"any gun...but we all have friends, sometimes in high Places. Thanks Again:)hope your bud that came home from war with-in last 2-yrs(2008-09?) Hope he is Good, and Happy Holidays too The crew & Tacttical Doodlle.

  • THE MAIN POINT TOO ALL GLOCK-VIDS IS THEY`RE BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK- but cant ""promote""on you tubeDUE TOO HE HAS AN ACCOUNT. thats why vids are over 10:02. An Account... SO HAPPY YOU SAID ABOUT TRIGGER LOCK AND NO RESTRAINTS TO GET SNAGGED-ON. very observent. The Glock Trigger is too get used too. though i dis-agree that his SIG is faster than a Glock- i seen 10-rounds in0.645secs. Thats like 150% faster than a Thompson. Glock 17-9mm 18 cap mags(2-3) and you`re good to go:) keep vids cmmng.

  • We have a glock 33 .357, I love it!!!!

  • Cool. I hope you understand, its nothing against you. And Hoorah to your dad, too. -- Veri (Nutn'sister)

  • Dude! Nutn's not going to recommend a pistol to a 12 year old. Get your parents to watch Teach Your Kids to Shoot. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy hey looking for glock sig or bretta witch one

  • @usmcltderby Find a range that rents guns near you or buddies that have them and shoot them all, each feels different, get the one that feels and shoots best to you.

  • @usmcltderby thanks

  • @usmcltderby Can't go wrong with any of those so just pick the one you like the most.

  • @Blacklung27 ty

  • @nutnfancy LMBO!!! good respond Veri))))) this one should be in a hall of fame ))) lol

  • i realy like your videos dude but come one

your targets sucked :D wtf 15 yards, 7 yards

you havet tryed only the poit blank shooting :D.

    but the vid is cool

  • Check out Insurgents on the Hill Part 3. Glock 17 at 130 yards.. -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @beethovenmetalhead 15 and 7 yards are ideal training distances for self defense shooting. rarely will you ever be in a dispute where you have a distance of 50 plus yards between yourself and an attacker

  • @richslayerbc08 i know but most of the shooters put their target at 7-10 yards and they aim for 2 hours ant then shoot. if you gona traing at 7 yards start training fast shooting (maby double taps ect.) and traing with you holster too. but its just stupid to shoot at 7 yards with the same rate of fire tha people shoot at 25-30 yards (waste of ammo)

  • "Well, maybe not Kel-Tec". Classic!

  • Whats The Price? I Was Thinking About Gettin 1

  • U can get 1 for about 500!

  • Sweet!!!!

  • First of all I appreciate all your videos and the reviews. I'm thinking of buying a Mossberg 270 cal rifle, can you let me know something. Appreciate it.

  • my springfield 1911 has never jammed .. EVER.. over 5,000 rounds in the last 9 years. 1911 - 2 world wars and countless other military conflicts. period have no reason for any other pistol in the world

  • BEST BANG and more FOR THE BUCK! i is what he`s trrying too get across without SAYING IT verbally put. He never says "Too Go BUY One """ just his exp.with that and the Compettion. And Can`t say ""buy a glock"" but have too be Blind not to get the idea / point. jrk that makes vid replys too their Glock vids by these guys"nutnfancy" With Manual in Hand....keep vids coming- See the russian41mm PSS for their military?? check into "their stuff"" Nice vids-- i see No Promotion at ALL..GREAT!

  • He can`t - promote ANYTHING due too they DO Have Account -therefoe can not promote.... I Think it`s what He is`nt Saying.. Glock IS running Theme...( even though he says info on like where he got the Blue paper towels-bg deal -we all know) BUT DIG THe way he likes the Glock trigger but not about the safety. But his last 4 WORDS=awsm awsm Pistol Design-- I made the ReSponse Vids with that Exact Manual /and that 4 Wrds r IN THERE=PAGE5... guys who have 1 know if Manual read.. # 1 gun

  • WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK !!!!!

YOUTUBE PUT PUBLICITY IN THAT VIDEO !?!?!?!?!?

what is wrong with them ???

    damn...

  • Was this before you became a fan of Kel Tec?

  • fine weapon, im saving up for one myself.

  • Thanks for the videos.

  • because the sigmas are garbage

  • how's the accuracy on the Glock 17. I have always been an avid hunter and I'm really big on accuracy, it's just a personal thing. Just wondering how the Glock 17 stacks up with other full size handguns. Anyone care to share?

  • the G17 is very very accurate, check out nutnfancy's "insergents on the hill" video in three partss, it is fantastic, i think it was part 3 where he was shooting it at long range

  • Most excellent

  • Hey, nutnfancy or whoever may have the answer, but I'm thinking about getting a Glock 19 (9mm) for concealed carry, and I was wondering if the G19 is available in the coyote tan frame (as shown on the G17 in the video)?

  • Yes you can find the G19 in that color but I guess it's hard to find, maybe easier to find online.

  • Thanks. I was thinking on getting one online.

  • i might get a glock 17 or sig p226 for when i turn 18 what prices should i look for :P

  • If i were you, i wouldn't buy a 9mm at all. I know nutnfancy argues this point but, i don't believe that 9mm's are really that effective. I would buy an FNP .45. I think it's the best .45 on the market at ANY price (at least for the high capacity models). I recently sold my Para 1445 to buy an FNP and i'm sold.

  • what about a glock 22 in .40 smith and wesson or a glock 31 in .357sig or a glock 21 in .45 acp. they are like $50 more expensive than the fnp45 maybe a little more. are they better

  • I actually own a Glock 31. I love the lightweight but don't care for the trigger action and double action only. I'd prefer to carry the FNP with a round in the chamber on the revolver-like double action on the first shot and single action on all, consecutive shots.

  • I should add, i do agree that the .357 sig. is a very effective round. However, the FNP .357 only holds 14 where the .45 holds 15 in the mag (on 2 of the models and extra mags).

  • .45 ammo is heavy, and round capacity is much less than a 9mm. A 9mm hollow point will stop a man flat if you put 2 rounds in the chest, and 1 in the head.

  • .45 ammo is heavy but, capacity is not always an issue. I have anFNH, FNP .45 which holds 15 in the mag. and one in the pipe for a total of 16 rounds. The thing is that in a crises situation, you might not have time to place your shots as you want. If someone is shooting back at you, that could end up very badly for you.

  • Yeah say that again when u have 1 in your chest or in your head!

  • Am I blind or whenever G17s with od frames look like they're tan?

  • Standard glock frames are black. You can by them in this OD green color. But it's more expensive.

  • This is od green? It looks so desert though! Idk maybe I'm thinking of od green socks but oh well thanks for the reply.

  • Hey buddy,,still catching up :) From 1st hand exp with Sig's and Glocks, I'd put my money on Glock any day of the week! I used the Sig 229/26, and the Glock 17, and 22, ALL are great weapons, but the Glock FOR ME is te pick. Just throwing that out there,, peace bro!

  • By the way, I no longer have the Sigma. I just couldn't get it to shoot right. It might have been me, but I don't think so. I traded it in for a Sig 226, and it shot much better.

  • i was going to tell you that i had the sigma series and i would aim at the head and hit the dirt!that pistol sux!s&w had to pay glock for that design!but if you traded for a sig props to you!

  • I remember that about it being basically a licensed S&W Glock. I would have 8" groups from 25 yds (rested) at best! Yup, traded in that puppy for either the P226 or P229. I can't remember which one. Don't have the P226 anymore, but I love my P229!

  • What a great series of vids on the G17! Back when the S&W Sigma first came out, I bought that over the Glock purely due to ergonomics. I have medium sized hands, and the Sigma fit my hand much better. With the re-designed grips, I think the Glocks should fit just about ANY hand size. I recently bought my wife a G26, and she loves it. She has small hands and it feels very comfortable to her. I carry a Sig P229, but I'd carry a Glock with no problems. If it's been a while, try the Glock!

  • Great video lot's of info. I am going to get a G17.

  • Did you ever do a video of the modifications to your Glock 17?

  • Thank you for all the great info. You always do informative evaluations. Some really ungrateful and jealous people out there. Dont let them get to you. Keep up the good work........

  • Glocks are actually a Single-Action Only design (SAO). If it were Double-Action Only, you could dry-fire it many times without cycling the slide like a revolver. The glock will only give you one trigger-pull and then you must cycle the slide for the next one. Excellent video's !!

  • I've done it. I didn't use the Glock 3.5# connector because the one I got (Ghost-Rocket 3.5# connector) also takes out the trigger 'overtravel'. It's really slick-shooting now.. ! Anyone that can follow instructions closely and has a dremel-tool can do this. Or just throw in the Glock 3.5# connector...

  • I'd like to see a video on how to change the trigger pull from 5.5 lbs to 3.5 lbs.

  • You need to switch out the connector and do some polishing. Google "glock 25 cent trigger job", there's lots of articles and forum topics on it.

  • Glock parts are made in Austria and assembled in Smyrna Georgia. Glocks will be made in the USA in a couple of years, so if you want a Glock tenifer finish, you may want to go ahead and buy one soon. FACT.

  • He's Not bashing any guns. Your being an Idiot by not realizing that. And I bet you couldn't get around that sentence without swearing.

  • Stop Cussin....and BTW its not called a clip!!!Its a Magazine!!!

  • Glock is made in Austria

  • My best friend's uncles cousin only sells Hi-Points lol.

  • can anyone tell me if a compensated pistol is worth getting? or would you say its better to stick with a regular glock

  • Im just going to throw this idea out there. I think you need to do a tabletop on the springfield xd 9mm i just bought one and id like to know what you think of it.

  • he all ready has a review on the springfield 9mm XD look for "springfield XD9: good glock alternative"

  • He goes "Lemme prove the accuracy of the glock 17" as he shows you targets shot by glock 19 and 26 HAHAHA

  • I think he means Glocks in general not Just a glock 17...

  • Could you make a review on the Kel Tec Sub 2000 ?

  • Well said, very informative! It's good that I first watched this table-top review before I get to see you P226 review as well.

  • My G17 was my first Glock. Most utilitarian pistol ever invented. I followed it up with a pair of G26s for daily concealed carry. (One at a time of course.)

  • have you seen hickok45 with a glock 23 shooting at 230 yards away target?

  • Cop Shoots himself in the leg shearch for this .

  • is glock the ak of pistols?

  • no a 1911 would cause its more powerful and i think its just as reliable

  • Ide say so lol.. its sued all over the world by different militarys and police forces. Not really used by militant/insurgent orginizations to my knowledge.

  • ya basically

  • Very good question. I think it is :)

  • what about hi point ...lol

  • How reliable is a Glock 31 .357 Sig?

    Can anyone help me?

Are they as reliable as the 17?

    I would really appreciate it.

  • what is your job?

  • Just got my first Glock mostly due to nutns reviews and other researched info its a Glock 23 .40cal subcompact very happy with this firearm. Compared to my other handguns, which I have several, the Glock is very light and comfortable to carry concealed on my hip, love it!! I also own a Beretta Px4 storm 9mm simply put the gun rocks with the sweetest trigger I have ever had right out of the box. Would love to see a review on this, any chance of that happening?

  • That's not funny, child.

  • if it is a korean kid doing this, then

  • No...Still not.

  • YEAH, GRAND FORKS, ND!!! WOOT WOOT!!

  • Great videoes.. now I want a Glock 17 AND a Walther P99.

    :)

  • i have a p99 you do wanna get it its a very good gun

  • yes...

  • Looked through all your vids! Where's the Glock 19 review?!? And also, which would you prefer? A glock 17 or 19?

  • what kind of grips are those. and where can u get them.

  • decal grips just google them

  • do they have the mag release on both sides of the gun for left hand shooters?

  • we need a glock 19 video

  • lol..maybe not kel tech
