Vegemite is an extract of brewers yeast. I'm an Aussie and I was raised having vegemite and cheese sandwiches for lunch as a kid. Parents like to feed it to their kids because it is high in vitamin B. It has a VERY strong, undescribable taste, but when diluted in gravys and sauces, it's pretty good.

I think Jamie has had too much time in the limelight, how many times did he call for close-ups? He should concentrate on cooking, if that is what he loves, but he is getting too pushy for tv.
