Oh damn, how have I never noticed the poster was rippin off City of the Living Dead?  This is definitely my favorite Bruno Mattei film, but I think his most well made film, technically anyways would be SS Girls (Private House of the SS).

Great review for a truly godawful movie. It amazes me that YouTube has no problem with users uploading the most outlandish scenes of graphic violence and profanity, but will flip out if you show a pair of bare breasts. Sick standards.

This film is one of the best examples of just how awful & entertaining bad Italian horror flicks could be in the 80s (also see Nightmare City). The film really doesn't make too much coherent sense overall, but that doesn't really matter. This is a goofy gore filled zombie film that always remains somewhat entertaining.

Hell of the Living Dead is a great bad movie. The voice actors did a nice job dubbing the film too, they really fit the characters well.

I've only seen one Bruno Mattei film, and that's RATS: NIGHT OF TERROR and....wow. That was, that was an experience.

I have watched HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD on youtube and have been dragging my feet on getting the dvd because I fucking LOVE this movie!

I had this on vhs when i was 15 or so.But i gave it to the goodwill because it was so bad.Im 24 now and im thinking of picking up the blue-underground dvd and giving it a second chance. I just remember the power plant stuff and the ending. Should i give it another shot or just let it be? Like always great review and keep up the fucking awsome videos!

@zombiefun100 --Hmmm, tough call. I saw this movie as a teen and hated it too. It's only been since I've gotten older that I appreciate (some) bad movies more. Like I mentioned in the review, it's most definitely a horrible movie, but it manages to entertain me...which I know says a lot more about my bad taste in movies than anything else. lol
