@AmazingZsolt ER: Emergency Room. I think its different despite the same word. Ours would be Trauma center I think in the US. Though wikipedia does list ER and A&E under the same article.

@TranceInMyPants21 It's being shown on TV to give people an insight into what the Drs and Consultants in A and E go through with regards to Major Trauma patients (so in that respect it is very far from a "joke"...). Also, King's is a Major Trauma Centre, so people need to see what actually goes on.
@TranceInMyPants21 This is shown so that the general public know what people in A and E go through on a daily basis. How they do their best for people, try with all their might to put people back together after a life changing event. These people are physically and verbally abused by the people that they are trying to help, particularly on a Friday or Saturday night when drunk people come in. If you can't watch it cos it brings back memories then that is fair enough, but do not call it a joke.
