everyone who says clausen sucks just dont know what theyre talking about. his freshman year he had surgery on his throwing arm, played behind the worst O line in the country, had recievers that were 5'9 and no run game. put any QB in the country in that situ and they would do just as bad. his sophmore year he made some stupid throws, but for all those who talk about his INTs, colt mccoy threw fucking 18 (1 more than JC) his soph. year and i would say he had a pretty good junior season.

dude, the facts are there, he makes a lot of mistakes on the field, gets sacked a lot, makes bad decisions and plays against shitty teams that anyone could look good against, Clausen is not bad but extremely overrated. At least Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford put on shows against teams in the Big XII and SEC against talented defense

Our o-line was so damn porous it was really embarrassing and Alexander holds on to the ball too long, instead of throwng it away he just eats it and gets sacked. I love the Warriors but this was a huge letdown.

With all do respect to Hawaii this was a game that the Irish needed more. This game single handedly changed the course of ND football. Despite the great Quinn teams, not one of em won a bowl game. This will be the team remembered for the "Return to Glory" GO IRISH!!!

great game. When I saw this team play it was great. When JC was throwin that ball around with his confidence turned up, it was like Quinn. When AA was runnin down the sidelines i though it was D. Walker. It was great.

yeah..you guys really showed up and looked really promising going into next year with all those young players..we lost before we got on the field with the media for some reason filling the players heads with stuff like we were gonna beat u with our speed and athleticism..and i was getting really worried when all the uh players in interviews were talkin bout the legend that is ND fb, talkin bout you guys like you're fb gods..mental loss off the bat..good game..lots of talent to watch next year

this game was huge for the Irish. Beating the Warriors at home is very tough and I didn't think we would compete. But we did have, on paper, higher recruited players and the talent level seemed apparent. The thing though was that Hawaii fumble after a big completion that seemed to take the wind of the Warriors. They still moved the ball well and it could have been closer. You guys will be back.

yeah..for some reason when hawai'i loses momentum they really start dragging..that's been a problem all season that when the offense is down, they're waaaay down..hopefully should be resolved by next year and they'll have a lot more confidence on offense since uh was young and inexperienced this year too..and hopefully this will teach the players to not put teams on a pedestal and just play every game like any other game

Just don't get your hopes up too high. This was a young rebuilding Hawaii team. ND used to have so much glory. College football needs ND to be a national title contender; hopefully this is a spark that will awaken a sleeping beast.
