Hey just back from my honeymoon! All I can say is I would be pulling in 2-3 times what I am now if the economy was better. I think we can all kind of say that. But that doesn't mean he just lay down and die because the economy sucks. You keep moving forward, make your 100-200k a year and when it turns around you are in position to make some really sweet income.

@mohammedabshaun Just a cruise that went to Jamaica, Mexico and Cayman. It was alot of fun. I would highly recommend it but talk with someone you know that has done these cruises for advice on planning it.

yeah this is something i went through/ am going thru. I was doing an MLM and it was legit, and could help people save money on certain everyday bills, and EVERYONE said it was a "scam" etc. but i use their services, saved money, and made money selling it.... ALSO DEFINITELY do the vending machine vid ASAP bc thats where my mind was headed even before u said that. That and ebay.... I really do NOT wanna work for anyone else. U should also talk about how to start a biz with very little $

He loves what he does. He was my chemistry teacher and one of the people in life that I most admire. But I'll keep an open mind about that.

i agree. especially about hte new technology. as per the etsy class,i am older but am willing to learn new tricks. no, i did not have a camera for skype but ,, hey , i went to radio shack and bought one and quickly learned how to use it , it was easier than i assumed.it all comes down to fear vs. desire. show your desire to succeed and it will overcome any fear. conquer that and you have it made. enjoy the weekend! just passed another b-day with new resolve and new goals. wish you well.

I was only joking about it being a nigerian scam. But the more you explain, the more it seems it is a fly by night business. You say adapt and change but why would a person buy a product from a business that comes and goes? As opposed to a stable company that stands behind their products. If I buy a pair of sunglasses from you, you might not be selling them anymore or dealing with that "commitment" anymore. Wouldn't I rather buy a pair of Oakleys that is committed?

I think by "commitment", he means committed to a particular region of the U.S. or a particular country. A "global" business will ALWAYS do much better than a local business because there is the ability to reach out to a broader customer base and other economies. I don't think he is talking about eliminating inventory. You only eliminate or reduce inventory when demand is not strong for that product. Diversifying your business is offering NEW products to sell that are in demand.

Why can I is because an online store markets to everyone in the world, not just the local community in a city. So how is that fly by night?

In a down economy it just means you have to work that much harder or creatively to get one leg up to make up for the gap.

It also gives a chance to look at new opportunities that cater to people in bad times (bad credit repair, foreclosures and a thousand other things).

Some people enjoy having an anchor in their life. If you like having your own store where people come and know you personally, and you go home and people wave to you, then there is nothing wrong with that.

Some of us are more into location free, receiving information in order to output possibly helpful knowledge to others. We go to college for personal reasons.

Good video. I think for a lot of people, they've maybe tried 1-2 things, or have seen others try 1-2 things, and they didn't work. They start to think anything they can't prove 110% is something that's fake. There's some pain when you try something that doesn't work, and putting everything into the 'scam' bucket brings peace.

Seeing what's possible through people like yourself, opens peoples eyes(although slowly).
