basically, i just mute everything that doesn't have dialogue. and if there's sound effects, like a running horse, then i leave it in there and don't mute it.
sometimes i get lucky and you can't hear the original song in the background, but if you listen carefully, then you can pretty much always hear. you really have to play around with the levels and stuff to make it seem legit. i just play around with it until it's the best that it can be without other distracting sounds :)

heh that was NIIICE!! I didnt hear the "oasis" song at all! Well once in the beginning but after that, it was smoooth. This song is awesome as well! I heard it a while ago and to see it used here, its perfect.
Aw...that was awesome! Although the scene was sad, it really wasn't so bad b/c the alternate song you chose had such a mellow feel to it. Very reminiscent of the carefree and young love days of Clana. And I love how you made it louder towards the end. Very Smallville-esque! Great job gianelvr4!
