This film was certainly better than the older ones on terms of visuals the story was sort of okay too however i didn't like the zombies with guns. But the ending... Now that sucked. Excuse me for the spoiler but I lolled so hard it was the biggest fail in zombie history. Not blasting zombies when they have the chance saying "They just need a place to go" WTF man? FAIL. I was sad.

i thought that this was a really cool and fun movie.we all know that george romero is the father of zombies and i never get tired of his movies.i loved the under water zombies, thought that was a great idea.simon baker was really good in the film, also love him on the mentalist. you gotta love john leguizamo and of course the late great dennis hopper who i still can't believe is gone.

Smart rotting brains...it is bad enough to make myself believe that dead flesh can get reanimated. This movie is donkey piss. I need a survival horror, NOT a social commentary on how common people get screwed. When I met old Romero at the Horror con back on Halloween 2005 in NJ, I "forgot" to pay for the autographed picture of his, but since I payed to see that crap LOTD movie I didn't feel bad. But since then I'm waiting in cold sweat for him to kick it, and creep into my house around Oct 31.

They do and these brains are totally functional, otherwise zombies won't be able to coordinate movement. A simple walking forward requires the brain's direction to thousands of muscles, that's why babies take a while to learn to walk.

interesting idea about the zombies evolving into a higher basic intelligence but i believe author max brooks would scoff at the suggestion of a thinking zombie. dead people don't think . and as far as romero doing something other than zombies would be like stephen king writing a cheesy romance novel.
