@MindEFX I would agree with you at least in part. I would suggest that there must be some sort of accountability set up for these guys. It seems a little one sided to me. At the moment it's a win-win situation for them. Disgusting high salary PLUS a bonus, but when the shit hits the fan? Still the same bloated salary plus the bonus. I am only a month behind and they are threatening with foreclosure but in the state of NM the law says you must be at least 120 days behind or more. I'm going to obtain a lawyer and demand my note!

I would do my home work first go to the county recorder where by state law the land titles is to be recorded. Along with the loan. It seem a lot of the titles were not and it seem the mortgage company lost/destroyed the title

If not recorded talk to a lawyer see what that means. You may be trying pay for a very clouded title on land that you can not sell.

Not only that some of the mortgages was sold for full amount to three or more companies. Which may all come looking to you to pay.
