As someone already noted, this is on season 5 DVD of the series. It's a tribute to Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek, who passed away in 1991 during the 5th season of the series.

God, hard to believe it's been off the air so long. Of course I have all seven seasons on DVD, have watched them many times through, and it still shows three times a day on Spike, so I get by!

And yes, IMO, Stewart is a outstanding actor.
