As a veteran recruiter and basketball analyst, there's no question that Levy is a sturdily built undersized shooting guard who has absolutely no jumping skills but can stroke it from deep. He has a reputation for being simply an offensive gunner, but this summer he is working hard to round out his game as a defender, rebounder and passer in Arizona summer league play.
In Levy's mind he has definitely convinced himself that he has five-star potential, but he hasn't fully convinced me yet that he is a 1-star prospect. In my mind, he is right on that 1-star cusp. If he proves that he does have a solid all-around game and can be counted on to stroke it from 3, then he is a no-brainer 1-star.
It has been reported that he has been focusing on his strength and mental toughness with one of the best personal trainers in the valley.
Although his work ethic and pension for laziness is a concern for most programs, Florida has put some early work into recruiting Levy, and Levy has supposedly got an offer from the Gators along with offers from Memphis and Wake Forest.
Arizona State University hasn't offered yet, but the Sun Devils likely will. Unfortunately for Florida, Levy has several connections to Arizona State. For one, his older brother is not only an ASU fan but a student. It hasn't been confirmed but Levy also has another brother that attends the state university.
