@skylounge12 Dear skylounge12, thank you for your comment. It's very much different with the others and I like diversity of ideas, though I would use more polite wordings only as a matter of respect to the admirers of my friend, Sahar who have different attitudes to yours. In all honesty, I have almost good knowledge in Persian history, mythology and mysticism and so I personally can obseve these aspects in Sahar's dance. You may also refer to my reply to another friend mancry here for the ...
@skylounge12 ... true roots of Sama which you think is Turkish. With all due respect, I think you may need to read a little bit more; however, as I admit I have no knowledge about Turkish heritage, you are more than welcome to explain things. Also, Sahar is a teacher of Iranian dance with many years of experience. If you don't like her style, it's only a different point of view and so ...
Anyway, thanks again for your paticipation in your very unique way and have a great time.

It's true that you can also see such dance in Turkey, but its origin is Iranian. This sort of divine dance might go to Turkey when Iranian great poet Molavi (Molana Jalal-e-din Balkhi) traveled and passed away there by his followers/pilgrims.
Actually I felt dizzy on her behalf! But she did her best and didn't get tired. I would say she's the best Classical Iranian Dancer. I'll upload another clip of her performance soon.
Bravo, beautiful beyond words. Sahar is a magnificent dancer and truly a master in her field.

The dance is fantastic but that's a pity that the camera trembles. Imaging this dance with a professional filming what would have become ?
