thats pretty tastey, im thinking of buying an old 97 mini and dropping a 1.4 in it. how fast do you think this one goes? a regular 1 litre pushes about 90, really need to know soon :s

ive just gotten a 1985 mini for my first car only 17 =]

just saw that in the tax book the engine is a 1 litre. BUT..

we stripped the car just to check for anything like loose cables.. the engines a 1.3 GT

oops.. ;) we'll just let on that we didnt know what was in it XD

It WAS racing green ;) But when we stripped the whole car for restauration we also painted it black and white.

looks modded. plank...note the whole 1.4 bit? biggest engine the mini ever came with was 1.3....and whens the last time you saw bucket seats like that in a factory car? c'mon use yer head!

1.4 if your useing a normall 81.28 1275 (1.3) crank and if you bore too 73.5 mm therefore giveing 1380. can go to 1480 if you use a 86.00 mm crank and go too 74 mm bore, experiments are going on for 76.2 mm pistons currently by someone i know useing golf vr6 pistons. therefore 1586cc. thats absolote limit. but to be honest from the same configeration 1.4 engine obviosly diffrent bore and stoke you wont get much more power maybe 10bhp
