  • Why are you using that made in China garbage with a fine piece of equipment from Japan?

  • @motorcitydeadman Simply put, there is no "garbage" here.

  • @motorcitydeadman why would you have to be such a jackass and make a comment like this? Go listen to some of the Jaton stuff...yes, the company that used to make cheap computer gear...it sounds pretty nice.

Emotiva makes some great stuff...especially for the money it costs.

For other people reading these comments, high end audio is just as much synergy as quality. Ive heard mismatched gear that priced out at 100k and it sounded like garbage. $400 of second hand can satisfy if set up right though

  • @sheltiemanva Absolutely right!

  • put that system on a rack and youll be fine sound is nice

  • Damn! Music sounds good even on my laptop!

I'm working on the Emotiva XPA-5>> Hope there is some kind of sale later this fall.

  • I think you must spend much more money in acoustic treatment .eg. carpet!

I ear clearly echoes and reverbs...

    Kraftwerk....great!

Mmmmm place the speakers far from the walls..they sound boominess

  • @badrini Thanks for your advice. The camera mic potentializes the "big room effect" someway, but there is no doubt I need acoustic treatment to get best results.

  • Thinking about getting an Emotiva amp. Not sure why this setup is lying on the ground or if this is just a demo setup, but it sounds great either way. No denying that.

  • @ThemBones24 Yes, the equipments were put on the ground temporarily, just for some tests and to make easier to show the cables on the background. Thanks!

  • @ThemBones24 Defiantly try one of their amps, they have a 30 day money back guarantee but i fell in love with my gear right away.

  • what song by kraftwerk was this? sorry!

  • @LordNeb The music is The Robots. You're welcome.

  • @Raposovski

    Hi Raposovski,

you've sort of inspired me to put together my first stereo system. the budget isn't big at all. but i had my eye on either a Cambridge Audio AZUR 650A or a Cambridge Audio AZUR 350a (not sure which is better!) paried with the mordaunt short aviano 1 XR's. any opinions?

  • I need a sound guru like yourself to put a system together for me! lol sounds perfect!

  • @LordNeb Thank you very much! The result sounds very pleasant to me. But I'm just an apprentice!

  • Sounds great dude.

  • @mrd7051 Thank you!

  • Hi great system , but how do you power all of those electronics do you use a power conditioner or what are you using??

  • @AztecG4 Hello. Currently I'm not using any power conditioner. But this is in my list of improvements!

  • Nice set up I love that XPA-2.

  • @tybirge Thank you! XPA-2 is a horsepower amp, excelent control over the speakers.

  • By the way, what cables are you using ??

I see some Audioquest right there

Those R6 from Monitor Audio have a killer bass response

  • @xliberodiviverex I'm using Van Den Hul Inspiration on the speakers, Audioquest King Cobra from CD to Accuphase, Emotiva XRCA-1 from Accuphase to Emotiva. Marantz is powered by SignalCable MagicPower Digital Reference, and Accuphase uses MagicPower Power Cord. XPA-2 is using Emotiva X-IEC.

You're right. The RS6 has a lot of bass. But I'm getting good control over it, simply putting the speeakers far enough from the walls.

  • Have you heard the new ARCAM CD37 ??

It is an amazing CD player

  • @xliberodiviverex Unfortunately not. I'm seeking for external DAC solution. I have been thinking on the Electrocompaniet ECD-1, but it's a little expensive!

  • very clean ,,,beautiful cables ,,,,nice sound ,,,but with carpet is going to be better sound ,,that floor reflect a lot of sound back

  • Lovely set-up, lovely music-choice! (also the bliss album in one of your other vids)!

  • @denonmirage Thank you very much. Bliss is wonderful. Their music can bring us out of this world. Schiller is great also!

  • Fantastic !

  • @KravMaverick Thank you!

  • Vielen Dank! Kraftwerk ist spektakulär. Es ist ein Hinweis für diejenigen, die elektronische Musik mögen.

  • The "Crummy" 300w/chn Emotiva as you call it, will soon TRAMPLE over the high end audio power-amp market, like that commi- Lord O.Bama intends to soon trample over the US constitution!

  • Emotiva has been a grateful surprise for the audio market, mainly if you consider the costs of the Emotiva products. As a I said before, it's a question of cost-benefit.

  • Why would you bypass the Accuphase amp section for the crummy Emotiva? Seems like a huge step backward to me.

  • Man, I understand you point of view, but I not agree. I would not say that is a huge step backward. There are some lose in definition in some music styles, however, in other ones you get some beautiful, powerful, control of bass and SPL without compromising the quality of the music. It's up to you evaluate what you are missing and what you are earning.

  • Nice system...but that floor. That tile floor. Reminds me of King Crimson in a hockey arena. Shrill ?

  • Thank you! Well, the floor is not the perfect one, unfortunately. But the final results still good. Would be better, may be using a carpet or some like that. I believe I'll be working on the room acoustics soon.

  • I agree with G3FORC3.

As good as your equipment is, it can't sound as good as it can in that room.

That room has to be as reverberant as hell. There's no treatment on the walls to absorb the first reflections coming off the speakers, no treatment on the back wall, the hard floor, etc, etc.

I'll bet you can still hear that system playing for seconds after the music ends.

Many people don't understand, but an audio system 'plays the room'.

  • You're right. The room is part of the system, no doubt. And I agree that my room is far from the perfect one, but... For now it's the only I have, and the sound is good enough to give me hours of pleasant auditions! So, in the near future I'll be working on the room, I'm sure that I'll get huge improvements.

  • perhaps you could send me the mp3 of this song?

  • Kraftwerk

    Germany

  • very high end

  • Fantastic! I feel as if I was in your listening room. What video camera do you use? And the music of Kraftwerk fits your audio system perfectly.

  • Hi!

The camera used was a Canon Vixia HF10, beautiful peace of hardware by the price. The sound is captured on two channels, and the format is Dolby AC3. Very good mics.

  • 5* for music choice and nice equipment + i subscribed to your channel.

  • Thank you very much! Kraftwerk really rocks!
