  • Sorry I didn't see any of the comments until now!

For anybody wondering what flash cart to buy, I'd suggest the AceKard 2i or Supercard DSTWO. Stay away from R4, those cards are horrible. M3 is better than R4 but not by much - basically stay away from anything with a number in its name :P

  • Did you ever stop and think that MAYBE just MAYBE that Nintrendo also has peopel.. people with COMPUTERS who ALSO have access to Youtube.. who will SEE what you are posting? and maybe now know how to find you personally as a cheater / thief... because YOU TOLD THEM HOW YOU DO IT? For christ sakes if you're going to cheat them, don't tell them how you are doing it!!!

I assume G-d gave you a brain, you should try using it sometime, it might surprise you. PS change your socks and take a shower.

  • Well thank you for your strongly worded reply :P

First, I'm well aware that Nintendo can see this video. But they're too busy trying to make console updates in the hopes that they'll actually do anything to care. How is Nintendo going to stop anybody from using an emulator on a flash cart that is not made by them? All they can do is try to stop the card from running - and even so, there's nothing they can do about it on a DS Lite... only DSi or 3DS. But thanks for assuming you can stop me.

  • @PsiPhiTy Why did you censor God? If your going to take the time to mention him at least be respectful and say his name.

  • white people always wear dirty socks

  • @flesh101 Stupid racist person

  • how are you not getting laid in those socks

  • dude clean your socks

  • Im thinking of getting a flashcart or whatever there called wich one should i get?

  • @penguinmaster100 Acekard, or R4 Revolution with Wood R4 in the most dire cases. Acekard will always beat R4, even with Wood R4 added.

  • @Sinsa234 AK 2i RULES!!!

    *random comment*

  • @penguinmaster100 Acekart 2i or M3i Zero

  • So the r4i supports nes snes and gbc but not gba....that's messed up who agrees

  • OK, a couple things. One, R4 sucks. Bigtime. It may be the most famous flash cart but it's horrible. Two, you're obviously not very educated about technology if you're really complaining about that... GBA emulation takes a lot more processing power than NES, SNES, or GBC. The only reason the DSTWO can do it is because it has a separate processor - the one on the DSi itself isn't powerful enough.

  • dude ur a fail

  • What is currently the latest version of SnesmulDS?

  • I really want to get the original Super Mario Bros for NES on my new DSi, but I can't quite figure out what I need to do. What do I need? And where can I download everything.. including games? I would very much appreciate it if you could help me out.

  • "As much as people like this game, the sound is seriously pissing me off."

PLAY IT ON A COMPUTER OR WII EMULATOR RETARD, IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT!

  • Also, listen to the sound at the Super Mario World title screen. His emulator's got serious sound rape issues.

And his constant camera and/or DS moving was making me nauseous.

And he thinks the original Sonic the Hedgehog was a Dreamcast game.

    n00b alert! :P

  • I might have said Dreamcast accidentally... I know it's for Genesis. And what do you mean "It's not supposed to do that"? It's an emulator, it's completely homebrew, a computer emulator would be the same way too...

And yes I know I didn't use a tripod, get over it already.

  • @DRFInPerson I mean the emulator isn't supposed to completely rape the sound, try using a PC or Wii homebrew emulator, and it'll be fine. DS ports of SNES emulators can't do as much as the PC versions, hence the graphics and sound issues with certain games.

  • I know it's not SUPPOSED to mess up the sound, it just does. And it's only on certain games. Other games work fine.

SNES emulation on DS is hit or miss, some games don't work at all, either. But the point of this is emulation on a handheld. It works better than nothing.

  • can it run pilotwings and other mode 7 games? I'd like to play starfox on my dsi as well.

  • my dsone doesnt work no matter who see`s it even game were confused

  • hey, i really liked the DSTWO video, i'm gonna get one as soon as i can :) but i have a question about that one, i use an r4 and i use SNemulDs but all of the games suck at sounds but also with the sprites and its kind of impossible to play em right, is there any similar problem with the DSTWO? just for bein aware... thanx in advice!

  • i have i player can i put snes on it?

  • The sound for Earthbound is seriously boinked compared to the SNES cartridge. The emulator fucks it up.

  • can you use these on an AR DSi?

  • dsi is more powerful...if it can do homebrew in dsi mode vs ds mode

  • Will these works for the Supercard DSTWO? and can NES games and gameboy color games be played?

  • Yes. DSTWO can do everything DSOne can.

  • Sorry that camera model you recording this video ... If you can answer me thanks!

  • Not sure what you're asking... but my camera is a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC S90.

  • Can I do this with EZ-Flash Vi?

  • Comment removed

  • @DRFInPerson thanks for the suggestion of the Supercard DSTWO, but I'm more interested in the R4i SDHC v1.4 models, mostly so I can play NDS roms AND use my TWO microSDHC 4GB cards.

  • @DRFInPerson could you pm me the links to the r4i-sdhc 1.4 compatible emulators. I don't have one yet but i'm strongly considering getting one.

  • They are the same as any other emulators. All DS flash cards can use .nds files.

Just do a Google search for NesDS, SNemulDS, and Lameboy... those are the names of what I used. Put the .nds file on your card and it should work.

Also, if you don't yet have a flash card - consider getting the Supercard DSTWO, see my video review of that, it can play GBA games too.

  • Do you know if these will work with the R4i-SDHC for 1.4?

  • Yes.

  • can i do this on sd card

  • hahah XD lameboy

  • wash your socks and drink some vodka your hands are shaking!

  • EARTHBOUND FTW!!!!!!

nice vid, but u should try to hold the camera still if u want peopl to follow your video^^

  • hey nice vid bro i got a nice collection of roms on my youtube channel!! more in my facebook group theres a link in my vids check it out!!!

  • Great vid, but a difficult one to watch if you get any kind of motion sickness.

  • Sorry about that, I was holding the camera with one hand when I made it

  • Earthbound on the SnesDS emu has sound emulation problems

  • Ah, well, I was using SNemulDS.

  • @DRFInPerson i noticed that you have mario rpg... does it work on the dsi? because it doesnt on ds. also try starfox. i would appriciate it if u made a video showing how mario kart, starfox, mario rpg, and killer instict plays. i want to see if to get a flashcard for my dsi if i can judge the gameplay : )

    l)§¡ ®üL£$

  • DSi and DS work exactly the same in terms of homebrew - in fact, the Supercard runs in DS compatibility mode anyway.

So if it doesn't work on DS, then no, it won't work on DSi. Have you tried it on SNemulDS?

But yes, Mario Kart works, at least Mario Kart DS. Star Fox for DS should also work.

  • well, no. the dsi does not work EXACTLY like the ds. the dsi has a faster processor than the ds, the CPU, is clocked at 133 MHz so it emulates better. thats why i asked you to play killer instinct because it plays type slow. i want to see how it will play in the dsi.

    look at this video

    watch?v=UfSyJYaKazk

it shows how much faster the dsi is than a regular ds

  • Yes, I know it has a faster processor.

But when you play original DS games, it cuts the CPU speed down to that of the original DS. All current DS flash carts (AceKard, Supercard, etc.) appear to be normal DS games and thus cannot utilize any of the DSi's additional CPU.

  • ahh, i see... i just realized that video was done in dsi mode i didnt notice that... so i guess i dont need this flash card then :/ ill just wait till someone finds a way to use the exploit to install some sort of hack, then ill just play those games then... *sigh*

  • @kirox777 It's IMPOSSIBLE to do that because the Dsi disables all unkown software.

  • @JonathanTheSmex ...yes, you continue going true life thinking that things are impossible

  • Can you provide a link that has a tutorial on the proper way to put these games onto our cards?

A website that lists what roms do work on the snes, and which dont?

A good source to download these roms?

  • I got the ROMs from Emu-Russia.

No, not sure of a site that lists which ones work and which ones don't.

But just unzip the ROMs (like .nes for NES, .smc for SNES), into a folder on your MicroSD card and run the emulator, it's that easy!

  • what links did u use to download the games

  • Do a search for Emu-Russia. That's where I get all my vintage games from.
