Eponine's got one of the best voices... I don't really feel that she is committed to the character, but she is young. There's some excellent staging in this production.

I have seen many productions of Les Mis and it is one of my favorite shows....and I think this Eponine is GREAT. Im not saying the other people arent good 2...for high school students they are ALL good...but she is on a different level!

why does everyone keep praising the Epoine actress here? She is VERY good but all of them are quiet good Marius is good and Valjean is excllent in the song 'the letter' (I count it as a sperate song from "at the barricade").

The Javert is a bit weak though but still not bad. Love the Gavroche

I saw this play and it was spectacular! and wen i learned tht the girl who played eponine was playin mrs lovett in the hs' production of sweeney todd, i flipped. she was so amazing and sweeney todd and les miz r my fav musicals of all time. and it made me so happy to learn tht im goin to tht hs nxt year!!!

A clip like this is very much appreciated, as I only know Les Mis by watching clips from The 10th Anniversary, a real stage production like this really helps me to "fill in the blanks" in the story: never could understand for instance why Valjean suddenly comes to join the people at the Barricade rather than sailing away with Cossette, but I see now he goes to watch over Marius and keep him safe for Cossette!

It's great to see a decent performance of Le Mis school edition on YouTube. There is a varying range (from very strong to off-key some of the time) of but overall quite satisfactory vocal performances. The orchestra does a commendable job too.
