si Boumedienne a financé le polisario, c'est pour mettre des batons dans les roues à hassan 2 qui s'est permis d'attaquer l'Algérie au lendemain de son indépendance en lui réclamant Bechar et Tindouf. Si Hassan 2 voulait ces territoires, il n'avait qu'a faire la guerre à la France pour les récupérer, et non attendre que les Algériens se battent pour libérer leur territoire et venir agresser l'Algérie, alors éprouvée par presque 8ans de guerre, pour prendre Bechar et Tindouf.

Thank you for your replies . My position is Arabic is the only language to advance Algeria because French is the language of the colonialism and the Amazaghia is unknown dialect and is not worth studying or developing . As far as Darja....well just see what Taha Hussein and Abu El 3ala 3l ma3ari did to this nice Arabic !!. The secular system is dominated by the Zionists, the neo cons and the Israelis . The truth is here is be seen by everyone . Thank you Boumediene my dear brother !!!.

@strongfoot2009 Well, I can't persuade you, but I assure you that Algeria is going the other way. Arabism has led to a civil war, economic collapse, and Algerian loss of identity. The face you exhibit is problematic because if we don't compromise with our Berber selves, our country threatens to rip apart in a civil war. At least we share one common interest, it is for Algeria's glory, and the common respect for the martyrs of our glorious nation.

Darja practiced ?. You can not have science, technology, philosophy.....etc based on some Darja . I am sure Colonel Boumedienne was right . By the way Allah yarham all the chouhada including Didouche Mourad, Hassiba Ben Bouali......etc . A chahid by any name is a great chahid . Chouhada were real men and real women who gave their lives for Algeria and all Algerians . we are all proud of them . May allah bless their souls and put them in heaven with his angels, messengers and prophets . Amen ! .

@strongfoot2009 Actually, you can. I've seen old Algerian school books in darja. And when I say darja, I don't mean then one spoken so commonly in the streets, but one that is more refined.

@strongfoot2009 Please understand that a language, before being beautiful, developed, or whatever, has to be pragmatic. We need a language everyone can understand. We can refine darja, the Moroccans have done it. Why can't we? It's a question of pragmatism, and not aesthetics.

@strongfoot2009 And yes, Boumediene was right! By all means! I myself can understand him, because he uses words I understand. Words I use daily. Boumediene was a great man by all accounts, the Arabic he tried developing is not the Arabic our country is developing now. He was far more pragmatic. And yes, I know who the chouhada are. I am Algerian, my family is one of the fundamental pillars of the revolution. But it is one pillar amidst millions.

We have to be realistic brother . The USA, canada, New Zealand, Australia.....and many other countries have aboriginals such as Amazigh or Kabyles in Algeria . However they do not use the languages of the aboriginals otherwise they would go backward to the stone ages . Arabic is spoken in more than 250 million Arabs , add to that all the Muslims who speak Arabic . Amazigh language is dead and buried like the aboriginal languages in many nations . Be brave and accept the truth . I hate no one .

@strongfoot2009 Never, Amazigh is not dead. And don't give me examples like the USA, New Zeland, or Canada. They are completely different. Algeria has a very rich Berber heritage. As you said, Arabic is spoken by Muslims. We speak Arabic because we are Muslims, and so we have forgotten our own language, Berber. We need to retrieve our culture, and recognize that we are Berbers. Im not saying we should deny Arabic, but we cannot deny our Berber heritage as well.

@strongfoot2009 It's not that I'm not brave. In fact, the very reason I speak of this shows that I'm willing to fight the norms set by a corrupt regime that forces another identity on us. I believe in an Algeria where the Algerian recognizes his Berber heritage and the influence of Arab culture on his own, an Algeria where darja is practiced and not an Arabic that we do not even use.

Yes indeed my colonel, my president and my brother !!!. Yes Algeria was, is, and will always be Arab and Muslim . Those who refuse to accept these realities are living in the darkest illusions on earth . The chouhada were both Arabs and Muslims . The chouhada were not Christians or Jews or Hindus or Buddhists or Atheists . Boumedienne is the numero one in politics .
