What? The 'Trees were ALWAYS on the verge of splitting long before Homme. Seriously, they were a band made up of 4 people who just didn't get along. THAT'S what "ruined" them. You'll recall Sweet Oblivion? That title was a reference to the fact that they thought that was going to be their final LP. Homme wasn't touring with the band then, so, his presence couldn't possibly be blamed for "ruining" anything. If anything, he made them sound even MORE ferocious live than they already did.

screaming trees and kyuss were popular worldwide- they sold many records back in the 90's-don't misunderstand me- i love kyuss and mark lanegan- but if you don't know masters of reality, go give them a try!!!!

they were the downfall of themselves. Josh said personally he left because they bickered too much. Not to mention that failed other album that never came to be (check out the unreleased tracks on their compilation album for examples.)
