Dear God, almighty, all-powerful, all-loving creator of the universe, we pray to you to cure every case of cancer on this planet tonight. We pray in faith, knowing you will bless us as you describe in Matthew 7:7, Matthew 17:20, Matthew 21:21, Mark 11:24, John 14:12-14, Matthew 18:19 and James 5:15-16. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
@12343590 We also have to be submissive in prayer. Just like Christ in the Garden. Perhaps your grandma will be saved through her sickness, or grow in her spirituality and closeness to God. IF God is good, and soverign there is nothing to worry about
@Dwrancho144 ...I was confused too when I listened to other ppl...confusion is going away when you read God*s Word and let Him lead you.Do a lot of thanksgiving prayer.Read Collossians.
Did the founding fathers PRAY for victory over the corrupt, wicked over taxing British government? Sure, and they won the war and America was born. Now the US has a government 100 times more corrupt than the British could ever have been. Paying money to support Wall Street, AIG or the mafia DOES NOT glorify God. Buying a bag of groceries for someone is better than giving 1/2 of your paycheck to terrorists in Washington DC. Amen.
Did you realize that even Jesus' prayers were not answered? He prayed that the cup of crucifixion would pass from him, that God's will would be done on earth, that God's kingdom would come, and that his followers would be "one" even as he and his father were one. But he was crucified, Satan is still the god of this world, and his followers have split into nearly 40,000 (forty thousand!) official denominations, each of which thinks it has the truth and that all others are in error. Wow.
Nothing surprises God. He is bringing ALL THINGS together because He knows the end from the beginning and when it's all done, we will say "Oh that's why I went through this or that trial. And that's why You allowed this or that to take place in my life".
...that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him.
Look at Jesus His prayer. He asks, "Let Your will be done, not Mine". It was not God's will to save Jesus from the crucifixion. And the crucifixion brought much more glory to God then to save Jesus from it.
The weak infant is burning in his crib. I am watching his tender flesh burning away. The flames are blackening the body of fragility. Clouds of smoke have filled the manger. The child's screaming has finally stopped. The incinerated skin crumbling faintly to the ground. I stare at the corpse and now remove the skull. It is time to return to the depths of doom. As demons praise my return. I enter my crypt and place the trophy above my shrine. Behold! The son of god is now dead!
i only ask for 1 thing FORGIVENESS !!!!!!!!

Imaginfree69> Read a little further and see that Jesus said that only if it be in his will. Jesus came to do the will of the father.

After Jesus prayed to have the cup taken from Him, He then said "But, not my will but Yours be done..."
