I read over the Internet that Lexus is announcing a Tokyo edition LFA at Tokyo auto show 2011 I don't know if it's only selling in Japan or worldwide and it sounds like they are making extra LFAs

The real bargain in the supercar market was the ford gt. It handled extremely well, was easily capable of making close to 1000 rwhp with minor mods and most mods that improved mustangs also could be applied to it.
The euro junk you idiots are talking about created carbon fiber bodies like the LFA is made of, and CCM brakes that gives the LFA stopping power, you don´t mention that do you?! but you idiots are just sad that America can´t make cars like Europe or Japan.
Anyway, LFA truly is an amazing piece of enginering, thanks Toyota and Yamaha for making this amazing engine, it´ll defenitly rock the super car world and improve it.

The LFA is an absolute masterpiece... no denying that. The rep was telling me this car is simply a break through into the super car market. Oddly enough, with the 400k price tag, Lexus is still taking a net loss.
They did not utilize any new technology or materials that have not been used in previous super-cars. So i am led to conclude, this car is not meant to advance the super-car world, rather, its suppose to advance solely the brand.

The LFA is an absolute masterpiece... no denying that. The rep was telling me this car is simply a break through into the super car market. Oddly enough, with the 400k price tag, Lexus is still taking a net loss.
They did not utilize any new technology or materials that have not been used in previous super-cars. So i am led to conclude, this car is not meant to advance the super-car world, rather, its suppose to advance solely the brand.
They are touting carbon fiber..

It's definitely cool that Toyota built this thing. Everyone loves exotics. Although, I have to question their tactics. Now that Nissan has resurrected the ol' 300ZX (the tree-fiddy, that is), where's the god damn Supra?
Those "poor man's exotics" of yesteryear are the best that guys like me could ever hope to afford. It just seems like manufacturers are focusing their efforts either on people movers or super cars and leaving this gaping hole in the middle of their product line.
