You guys should get together with Garmin and build a case with a GPS antenna and backup battery so hikers and backpackers can use their phone as a GPS, Camera and video camera for their outdoor adventures when there is no cell phone service. It would turn the iphone into the only device one would need outdoors while being shock, dust and water proof. I would certainly buy one.
Before I saw the shadow of the person holding the phone I knew it was recorded using the iphone. Look at the over exposure, distracts from what he's saying.
The second iteration of the LifeProof cases is, possibly, the best design in this category of iPhone cases. However, it's a bit of a shame the bike mount won't allow for a simultaneous charge when riding, as it won't accommodate the charge cable plug. Only complaints I have is the inability to charge the phone or install an ANT receiver while in the mount. Other than that, these mounts are more secured and the bike mount is the most secured mount I've ever used on my mountain bike.
Could i use the handlebar mount on my dirt bike? The bars aren't very big compared to a bicycle, but will it hold up while on extremely rough terrain (roots, rocks, jumps, etc.) ?
what would be nice if it was one mount with attachment for the arm band, bike mount and belt holster instead of needing to order three different mounts at $30 a piece. Just a thought.
