I wonder if you could use a twist tie that is normally used to keep trash bags closed, and wrap into the shape of a lock collar. That should work if as long as it does not catch on the gear. Total cost $0.01.
forget these cheep little air hogs things, and buy a quality rc helicopter. Air hogs pisses me off they sell cheep airplanes and for a little bit more you could by one that actually fly's they waste peoples money on these cheep pieces of crap. Oh yeah and there crap is unrepairable you cannot fix there cheap airplanes.
Shit can it - and buy another one. There are no replacement parts for a Havoc. Your main shaft retainer is stripped, Your airhog is terminal. Your in luck, its a cheep toy. Good News - You can fix it in 20 min with a drive to your local Walmart, and a $20 bill. Look on the bright side - This time you can get the yellow one - Yes they do sell the Havoc lazer battle in a single pack...
ooo, that happened to me to. another problem is the propeller has a big chunk. i was flying it near the stairs for extra height. then it was heeding to the guard rail. i tried to take it away but the left and right stick wasn't making the havoc tern. and then disaster! i had an other one but that had a problem with the rotter shaft. the same on the video. oh, almost forgot, you can just call the air hogs company.
the rotor shaft goes down through the frame and has a lock collar on it that holds it from moving up. look at the bottom end of the rotor shaft. you will have to find a way to secure it.
well if you cant find another collar i would just put a dab of hot glue on the very end make sure you dont glue the shaft to the frame but put a tiny little ball of glue on the end so the shaft cant move upward......maybe put a tiny washer in between the glue and the frame so the friction doesnt melt the glue
But if he calls customer support he gets to talk to his own kind! WTF? Be sure to tell them the stick is coming up buddy ,they'll get you straightened out with that kind of info.
the main shaft has a gear that is connected to the other smaller gears. when an impact occurs the shaft is pushed down causing the big gear to move up on the main shaft. simply push the big gear down. The main shaft should move very little now. This same problem happened to me.
this problem hapened to me.the main rotor might not be straghted .

all i can say is push the bigest gear downward and it will move down on the main shaft so that it will now touch the smaller gears
