  • 7:31 ......fuck YES! One of the heaviest things I have ever heard. Still gives me goosebumps listening to it.

  • Back a few years when i was in high school, my English teacher had instructed us to fill out these little forms with parents info and personal questions so the teacher could get to know us. Where it asked for favorite song, i had unwittingly written down shed and handed it in. Next day the she says they will play each song from the students and talk about any literature or poetic elements, and subsequently played shed. Needless to say the entire class was dumbfounded and frightened by this song

  • @SummoningACryptid Awesome dude haha

  • I've never been closer to punching someone in the face and being gratified for it.

  • eh, I tested it, same thing ignore that last one

  • 7:31, mate! lml

  • Honestly, I started out listening to Slipknot, Korn, etc. Now I'm into stuff like Meshuggah. Necrophagist, Arch Enemy, etc. Lol.

  • @BloodHarvest21 I listen almost everything from AC/DC to Whitechapel, including Korn and Slipknot.

  • lol the snakes look like they're singing at the beginning. or mabye its just the meds im on. \m/ love meshuggah.

  • Listen to the whole album, it is a dark good violent psychotic violent trip

  • Sitting back listening to dehuminzation While melodies are executed with synchronization Genre with no categorization Speakers set to un-heard amplification un-steady mind, so this is my fucking meditation Cursing the lives of the evil with damnation Sounds executed with abnormality leaving me in mental isolation Strings are the paint brush and Meshuggah is the illustration feed me with your truth intoxication Rhythmic notes, that can solve any mathematical equation
  • @0oLoneWolfo0 dont you hate when you make a well thought out comment like yours is and you go to look a few days later and nobody thumbed it up.

  • @stewartbarnes15 I know that feel bro

inb4 this gets 500 thumbs because I'm the uploader

  • @0oLoneWolfo0 My speakers, THEY AREN'T LOUD ENOUGH

  • Nice upload, It's obvious these songs are a continuation of each other.

  • Comparing Meshuggah to Behemoth is... just... phenominally fucking stupid! Two completely different genres of metal cannot be compared, just like dance and dubstep or grunge and punk. Similar in elements, different in whole. Good music is good music, enjoy it, you'll be sorry you never got the chance to when your dead.

  • @ShiivaWilding I used to be a hardcore Behemoth fan, and then Meshuggah found me.

  • @TheRobb573 And they converted you?

  • thumbs up if u think this is the craziest meshuggah album :)

  • @cognitive951 No, Chaosphere is the rawest most crazy album I've heard. Catch 33 is just the best :)

  • @ iAmTheYan dude i completely agree with you. this is the best meshuggah album son! :)

  • No to God!

    No to Christ!

    Deny the CROSS!

    BLEED AND DIE!

    HAIL AZARATH!

  • @guesswho811 Lmfao

  • I listen to this album right before I go to sleep sometimes and I usually fall asleep around Mind's Mirrors, then as soon as Shed kicks in I wake up and trip out to the back half of this album. This shit is insane....

  • @Trippinhighman men your right i feel you am the same smoke a weed fall in sleep wake in shed i get adrline rush

  • @fataloxygen Yes it did, It fit into Personae non gratae

  • thumbs up if you got this album day one.

  • This band blows so bad I've never heard a band with zero rythm zero originality zero personality someone please stop these fags and their fans from calling themselves talented what a shitty infection of mindless bullshit this band is ...go to hell superfan bitches

  • @hotta1488 Obvious troll is obvious.

  • @666CthulhuIsMyBitch Cthulhuls your bitch? I thought he was Meshuggahs maid?

  • @hotta1488 And as Cuthlhul says, Obvious troll is very obvious.

  • Not enough can be said about these three tracks, this album, and this band.

  • @Floorsnarl You literally read my mind,,simply aw.

  • 7:32 is the heaviest piece of music. Its like listning to dark psy after a dope

  • wodahs' theme song!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • only thing that would make it perfect is adding sum at the end. for me it all flows together perfect that way. :)

  • i really do think this song is about 100 years ahead of it's time, meshuggah themselves being about 300 - 500 years ahead of the norm

  • Catch 33 is beyond music. This shit is just god-like.

Humans did not create this album.

  • Holy shit this is drop-Eb isn't it? Wasn't there at least one track on Nothing that was dropped to Eb?

  • @DanteLeblanc Yeah, I think that was "Spasm". Good shit.

  • @slayerfan2020 Nope. Spasm is "ninestring" semitone down drop tuning...on their eights.

    Bb+F+Bb-Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb.

But I could have sworn at least one track on Nothing was in drop-Eb.

  • @DanteLeblanc Damn, I should have known that. I think Stengah is in drop Eb.

  • have you heard the next album is supposedly going to be another continuous piece like catch 33? I cream at the thought

  • I want this album to rape me.

  • jesus christ from 5:54 and above made me go nuts

  • Entire Catch album is a masterpiece, from the very first note to the last one.

  • amazing stuff. aha i just love the was he sings in shed.

  • I have been listening to metal for 6 years and I will say that 7:32 is the heaviest piece of music I have ever heard.

  • @Brutalious hell yes, meshuggah brings the heavy like none ever have.

  • Ur Insane. Have you ever heard of Black/Doom or even Black metal? You'll find much heavier stuff than this if you dig deep enough, which most people don't. U had me for a second..but I wouldn't call this heavy

  • @blastbeat1984 I think he means heaviest thing that doesn't sound like a pig with diarrhoea.

  • @blastbeat1984 LOL Black Metal heavy? You must be high. Doom Metal is a completely different style of music that you can't really compare with Meshuggah. Though I understand why you think its heavier, I have to disagree.

  • @blastbeat1984

Black metal is something that I just simply cannot take seriously. I see kids pretending they are dinosaurs and making "RAWR" sounds. It's not serious, its foe rebellion bullshit. This is heart, soul, and crushing heaviness. Jens>any metal vocalist on the planet on heaviness. This isn't opinion, this is fact. I've heard Gojira, I've heard Bodem, I've heard Suppressor, and it's pure dogshit. These guys stomp everyone in terms of complexity, musicianship, and heaviness.

  • @Curmudgeon5462

who the f**k is talking to you boy. now piss off

  • @blastbeat1984

I was actually siding with you. But you can't read so...

  • @Curmudgeon5462 mainstream black metal justifies everything you said about it as for Gojira, they don't even play djent, so you can't really compare. They have a decent delivery in my opinion;ordinary tech death

  • @bloodyrockfire Why did I say Gojira? Your right about that I was thinking of some other band, gogoroth maybe? Anyway whoever it is plays black metal and they're shitty.

  • @Curmudgeon5462 Yeah, you did spell 'gojira'.'Black' "Metal" such as dimmu borgir or gorgoroth are ruining the image of the genre completely and it's original concept as an art from and the first steps on the trail of evolution.A good example is Bathory.Their first 3 records were the starting line for the acid sound of today that surprisingly you don't find but in case of underground bands.

  • @Curmudgeon5462 Gojira's pretty good.

  • @Brutalious dude i came here just to make a comment on that end breakdown as well, it really is brilliantly heavy

  • @Brutalious

    Absolutely.

  • @Brutalious Only 6 years?

  • @codemaster667 Seven years now! Haha. I know I got into the Metal scene a little late. Excluding Heavy Metal bands like Metallica, the first real Metal I got into was the album Follow The Reaper by Children Of Bodom. And a year after making the bold comment about that part in this song being the heaviest piece of music I've ever heard; I still stand by that statement today.

  • @Brutalious I've noticed it was posted a year ago afterwards.

I don't remember how long I'm into metal now, but I was VERY young when I heard my first metal song: Raining Blood by Slayer.

I still may be very young, but I'm at least 12 years into metal now...

Btw, you know Gojira? They have some pretty heavy stuff too.

  • @Brutalious i could not agree more. it is the sickest breakdown ever, no questioning. 4-1-4-1-4-1-4-1-41-1-4-4-1-4-1-4-4-1-41-1-4-4-1-4-1

  • this is just the best music ever

  • @schpleeb True music+ Musical perfection+Rhythmic Professionals+ complex amazing lyrics= Meshuggah

  • @ShadowAce70 if In Death is Life, all the way through to Sum, was one single song, do you think it would be better than 'I' ?

  • @schpleeb hmm good question. idk "I" and Catch 33 is just pure amazement. I dont think either one is better than the other. I mean, it's Meshuggah. Anything they do ranks up to a full 5/5 vote (except for Contradictions Collapse)

  • feed the christians to the lions!

  • Why are d-bags commenting on this? Anyhow I love this fucking album BAWLS DEEP!(no homo)
