@LolligaLykke took the words right outta my mouth... 10 days and it still hasnt set it, the Big Man will always be in our hearts and in my churchs prayers. That brand new saxophone from bruce's "santa clause is commin to town" is up there waiting for ya Rest in Peace-3
Thanks so much for this - hadnt heard it before but really made me smile through the tears. Will share it with my brother who introduced me to Bruce back in my teens. My very first concert was Bruce and the E Street Band on March 27 1985 in Sydney when I was 15. Still remember my brother telling me before the show "wait til you see Clarence, you're gonna love Clarence - he is so cool"! He sure was right. Thanks Big Man, we love you xxx
The E-Street Band and Bruce have always been a huge part of my mother's life and therefore I've grown up with them aswell. I remember already being fascinated by Clarence when I was a kid and the shock I had yesterday when I found out has still not settled. For me, that man with his special kind of warmth and life shining out of him, will never be dead. He is immortal. To me and so many others. I have only love and admiration for him.
May you rest in peace Clarence Clemens, The Biggest Man.
Yes, thank you for putting this up for everyone. I've heard this before and it's great to hear it again. Clarence Clemons certainly created a wonderful musical life for himself and brought joy to so many; how many of us can say the same? He's gone from our physical presence now but his music will live on and on.
Out there , all over the world , there are kids dragging guitar cases , saxophone cases , trumpet cases to their lessons . Some of those cases are bigger than the kids. God bless them.... And, they want to be musicians because of someone like Clarence Clemons .
I absolutely enjoyed this........smiled the entire time listening......Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together.....I shared it with the man who introduced me to the Boss and Big Man some 27 years ago........I'll keep listening till I stop breathing.......Thanks again.........
Fantastic, the joy is returning after the initial sadness(still sad), but through the music you'll always be with is big man. Thanks for uploading this :)
I was telling my son about this story only 20 mins ago.
Thank you so much sir for compiling this, in what is quite simply the greatest intro to any song ever...which introduces Bruce and millions of us to the true legend that was Clarence Clemons. Thanks Big Man for the memories..rip and much love from belfast.
