Listening to this reminds me of my family in the seventies. My cousins and I would be outside playing and our parents would be in the living room listening to Little Johnny Taylor, BB King, Little Milton and the other classic blues singers. Sometimes my cousins and my sisters would earn a little money lip syncing to the singers and acting out the dance moves.
Back in the day...Birdells Record Store on Nostrand and Fulton in Brooklyn, this song would be coming through the loud speakers on a Friday evening..so nice....I did not know Mr. Taylor passed in 2002...another talent gone......RIP Little Johnnie Taylor.
for all you blues lovers this was written by clay hammond.... one of the greatest and never can be duplicated or imitated ...original .... soul man our prayers are with you.
