Statistically, people who drive at or below the speed limit are MORE likely to get in and/or cause accidents than those who speed. I'm fairly sure that is because those people are mainly new drivers or elderly drivers but that's not something you can extrapolate from the stats.

IMHO people who go to slow cause people to tailgate out of frustration.
