  • I actually think that the Vaegirs represent the Varangians more than they would represent pre-muscovite Russia.

  • only on my way to valhalla

  • @greyvulc icwutudidthar

  • stop saying a specific northern country... leeho98 is right, they're based of scandinavia, as in their Glorious Viking ages.

  • No , Nords are totally based on Norway.Sarranids are arabic.Khergits are turkic tribes (included mongols).Swadians are totally holy german league.Vaegirs are rus.

  • The Nords is based on Danish, sweden, And norway. not just 1 off the countrys

  • @theinnersin

oh and the arabics are the sarranid (warband)

  • @theinnersin

    rhodoks are swiss

  • what about nords?I think they are german

  • @kaanos98 Nords would be Scandinavian, not German.

  • @theinnersin Nords are swedes.

  • @lol332211 no they are nords. vaegirs are vaegirs. swadians are swadians etc.

  • @TheIRONGIANT531 ** Facepalm

  • @lol332211 nords are based off of the danes which also had norway in their kingdom.

  • @TheIRONGIANT531 Nords = General Scandinavians, based from the Swedish vikings, but includes every other Scandinavian country except Iceland.

  • I love the Nords :D

  • sweet song. nords rock

  • Nords have the best infantry troops in the game

  • Nords + vaegirs = scandanavian vikings ( cuz they are )

swadians + rhodoks = some random european kingdom (rhodoks are swadian rebels)

    khergits = mongols ( horse archers )

sarranids = some random sahara kingdom ( desert scum )

so now u know! dont comment again, this is how it is!

  • @theinnersin Nords - Scandanavian dark ages.

Swadians - High Middle Ages Western countries (France, Germany, Britons)

    Vaegirs - Slavic/eastern European.

    Rhodoks - Alpine/Swiss/Italian

Khergits - Take a wild guess.

  • awesome song

  • Nords- Denmark, Sweden, Norway

Rhodocks- Swiss, and some weapons and armors from Scotland

    Vegirs- Rus, early Poland, Lithuania

    Swadians- Germany, French

    Sarranids- all arabic nations

  • you guys are off-topic right now... discuss it somewhere else, this video is about music, not landmarks and their military!

  • @theinnersin khergit kharnate is mongol, sarranid sultanate is osmanish, rhodoks are german and swadians are english, thats how i thought it is... but rhodoks being french and swadians german also sounds right

  • @Mastkeiler I believe Rhodoks are Italians.

  • @Mastkeiler swadians are teutonic, rhodoks are northern alps italians, sarranid sultanate is most likely arabic, khergit khanate is mongolic, nords are scandinavian and vaegirs are pre-muscovites

  • @leeho98 yeppers ur rite

  • @leeho98 The most difficult thing to do is to define what civilization represents rhodoks and swadians. I think that you are very close with that two. For me swadians are italians (from Milan) or teutonics.

  • @leeho98 the khergits come off to me like a child of the mongolians and the huns.

  • @leeho98 I got bored one day and decided to study there armors and city architecture and came to this conclusion Swadia- England/France/Germanic States Rhodoks- Italian/Spanish Sarranid Sultanate- Arabic Khergit Khanate- Mongolian Nords- Scandinavian/Older Germanic States like Saxony Vaegirs- Eastern European

  • @Mastkeiler swadia is western Europe, Rhodoks are southern Europe, Khegerts Are Mongol (there leader is a khan, nords are obvious danish/baltic/viking area, veagers are russian.

  • @Mastkeiler According to the lore when the Rhodoks were first introduced, they're Swadian rebels who formed their own kingdom, using spearmen and crossbowmen to combat the feared Swadian Knights.

So I would say that they are both influenced from the same real-life source, just in different ways.

  • @Mastkeiler The Nords are a mix of Scandinavian and German(You can have a Teutonic helmet as Nord). Rhodoks are French and Swadians are English.

  • @joonte1010 The rhodoks dont have heavy cavalry though.

  • @joezzzify Hmm true, But their infantery looks very French inspired i must say :S

  • @joonte1010 Swiss would be more correct. Medieval France was feared for its unmatched knights and cavalry. The Swiss, though mainly Genoa and Milan used the combination of spears, tower shields and crossbows.

  • @KethamBodds Swiss? Tell me about them.

  • @joonte1010 well.. The Swiss were famous in the late Middle Ages for using a tight pike formation, which was deadly against knights (that's quite obvious, I suppose). The swiss themselves hadn't much use for mounted troops, mostly for geographical reasons (Alps aren't the best training spot !), which explains the need to defend efficiently against it.

  • @KethamBodds ahh Alright thanks, I didnt know about that. I need to read more about the Swiss, I knew That they were quite strong but nothing more. The Medieval history in Western europe is mostly about English and French sadly. It would be interesting to find more information about the other Medieval countries ^^

  • @joonte1010 Eventually, their tactic (though the Greek had already used that formation, also known as the Phalanx) gained popularity and was adopted by neighbour countries (a good example is the German Landsknecht), and Swiss mercenaries became very prized. That's the "short" version.

  • @Mastkeiler Sarranids are rather Mamluks

  • @Mastkeiler Why Rhodoks French ?? Swadians is 1000times better for French, whose cavalry was one of the best.

  • That's why I like the Nords. They have courage, no matter what.

  • @Trexmaster12 Well.. not in warband :( when the enemy loose they start running away, even the nords and sea raiders do >_<

  • Probably the best sound track in Mount&blade. Thumb way the hell up!

  • Awesome.
