  • He was actually free....the people who had him before us (he was 4 when we got) had to get rid of him and were just happy they found someone to take him...His breeder(a very-well known Schipp breeder in Canada) charges $1200 for her pups, but they are well worth it. She truly cares about her dogs and it's just all about they money with her.....

  • How much did you pay for him if you don't mind my asking?

  • He is such a cute and well behaved boy. I wish my Isaac could walk off leash. :/

  • He will stay close on the beach or forest trail, but he is always on a leash when walking by cars or traffic or a road.

  • how do you keep that animal off a leash?

  • Dang, it looks like a tornado hit that place!!!

  • I sometimes think schips are part mountain goat

  • ...lol...My Schip has no fear when it comes to heights...Tyson wandered out on the balcony of a hotel and proceeded to squeeze through the rails and walked out of the ledge of the building on the 15th floor and ran along the ledge to the next hotel room balcony...I thought that was the end of him but thankfully he turned around with no problem and wandered back! Crazy dog:)

  • It's Vancouver Island, BC....on the beach ...so you are pretty close:)

  • Is that a logging river or something? Where I'd this at? Looks like Washington state

  • So cute :)

  • Must be a skip thing....that's were my skip goes when on the couch:) I want to do agility with him because I think he would enjoy it...always running along things, up things, through things....when he is walking in the forest, he always has to jump on ony stumps or logsthat he comes across:)

  • yah it's funny. m skip likes to walk like this all the time and she sleeps on the very top of the couch.

  • He's a beautiful dog, and he wonderful off lead. I was warned very strongly by my dogs breeder to never let them off lead that they would take off. But you're boy is obviously very well trained. Good luck with him and my you have many years with him :)

  • Very cute... I'd love to take our Presto out in the wilderness like this. Tyson's balance on that log is pretty spiffy, although Schips just make other dogs look like uncoordinated buffoons all the time. Cool vid.

  • Thanks:) Tyson absolutely loves to walk on the beach and run along any washed ashore logs. He could do this all day..... I figure he's a natural for agility:)

  • That looks like a fun day. He's very pretty :)
