No, i run them of the RCF PA amplifier. The NAD is just a pre-amplifier.

I got a Denon AVR 2106 now. Ill probaply make a vid later this week :)

How do you think the VE series sounds compare to how the CLSC series sounds? What's you favorite CV speakers you have?

The CLSC series have more sound from the tweeter, and play a bit louder in the midrange/tweeter area. But the VE12s have far more bass than CLSC10/12 :)

The CLSC's maybe a bit more dynamic and clearer.. i dont really know, havent compared them yet. Im only guessing :)

The pair of CV speakers ive been most happy with is the VE12s.. Believe it or not, they have more bass than V-15..

Yeah, I've always heard that the VE has more bass than the CLS/CLSC series. The VE-12's are tuned to 28Hz while the CLSC-12 are tuned to like 33Hz or something like that.

And I imagine that the VE-12 will always have a special place in your heart since they were your first pair of CV(im assume) ;)

Do you use Digital Optical cable from your pc?

I use a Argon 5005 cable.

I 100% recommend you use Digital Optical Cable. I used it on my VE-12's what a difference honestly...like HD AND Standard Def. Buy a Digital sound card with Optical! Thing is i'm not to sure your NAD has the input.

And no=( It doesnt.. the NAD 114 is a little old Pre amplifier. The day i get a surround receiver and a new soundcard ill use optical cable :)

Thing is RCA is analog not Digital. Using Optical you will get true Dolby Digital from your PC. Much cleaner channel separation than analog. Plus your speakers will pick up frequences much cleaner and produce a much richer sound. I know i've done it :D

Jeg hadde CLS-10, jeg må si at jeg likte mellomtonen på den veldig godt, er det noe jeg vil savne på VE-serien?

Jepp hehe.

Nja.. jo.. CLSC tåler mer og spiller høyere i mellomtone/diskant. Men bassen i VE serien er helt klart bedre og kraftigere hehe.

Kan ikke måle seg med 215 såklart, men med 12 og 15 fra begge seriene :)

VE serien låter veldig bra i mellomtone og diskant da. Og spiller jævlig høyt om du har riktig forsterkeri og rom :)

CLSC-10 har faktisk egentlig ganske lite bass.. men kan være rommet såklart.

Men spiller HØYT :)

I have VE-12, V-15, AT-40, CLSC-10 and CLSC-15s sub :)

I actually think VE12 is the best.. Its the speakers that ive so far been most happy with :)
