Lasko makes great looking fans with much engineering using screws and heavy stands. The problem is they use the cheapest Chinese motor available.

Therefore the heart of the units being inferior.

Put a 'G' in the center and this would be a 70's era Gambles fan. The buttons are quite distinct.
