  • what an amazing sounding organ...and flawless playing. sounds great.

  • Incredible.

  • Oh God....I've watched all your videos sir...But this one was so nice...My eyes got wet when I listened to you playing...Please allow me to say that you are the greatest musician I've ever heard to...Thank you for reading my comment

  • very beautiful!!!!

  • love the Dethier at the end. That is a very difficult movement!

  • Thanks for wonderful reply!

  • Totally mesmerized by such a wonderfully talented Organist. His interpretation of an age old classic goes without saying! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

  • I definitely recognize that one church as Christ Lutheran Church in Allentown, PA. Used to have my annual piano recitals at that church. A very nice building with good acoustics. And a nice organ too, a IV/77 rank Skinner/Casavant/Austin if I remember. Saw Felix Hell there once. Didn't know John Hong played there though. I wonder when he came. Would have liked to see that.

  • I admire the Asians they practice and practice and work so hard until it's perfect. I used to think 12 hours of school a day as brutal, but look how polished these people are, no matter what they set out to accomplish, they do it perfectly. This is a hard arrangement and I can not hear ONE mistake.

  • John just improvised based on the melody without practice.

  • John, I love your playing ! But, please give credit due to the people you borrowed themes from ! You did Not invent the ending to this one. Gaston Dethier did . Glad you can play it; not everyone can. But still, do not take credit for stuff you did not do.

  • @eunsunghong i agree with teh aforementioned. without sounding stereotypical i agree. and to have done this without practice says much about talent and dedication. do you have any recordings out? i want them :) thank you

  • its not just asians, anyone can do this if they practice, you dont have to generalize it to one race

  • Yes I do have to generalize it, Asians are perfectionists, if they are Doctors or musicians, or teachers. I have dated them and every guy is so smart and a pleasure to be with. Americans tend to be lazy and will not practice. Asians are dedicated and give all efforts 110% take it from me, I know and have lived it.

  • Speaking as a hard working and extremely ambitious American, I must protest. We're not all lazy.

  • All the most beautiful!

    Organ timbres, sounds and pictures.

    Nice improvisation!

    Thanks for positing.

  • love it! 5 stars

  • Now, this ushers in the Christmas Season for sure! Your registrations are superb and love the NYC scenes too.

    Happy Holidays

  • that was great...thanks!...great musician!
