I love this Ibanez. I got it used a couple months ago (my first guitar). My only problem with it is that it doesn't have a cutaway. I like to stay tuned down to D, as you can tell in this video, so any high fret work is tough to pull off.

Really, for me, once I sit down and experiment with chord structure, the lyrics come easy. I've been writing poetry for so long, now, that writing lyrics to go along with music isn't too terribly hard. All I can say is just sit down and write what comes to you.  You can always revise what you have, but the biggest step is just *starting.*

You're supposed to miss the people that make an impact on your life, whether it be for 7 days or 7 years. It hurts, it sucks, but it's necessary. I mean, do you *really* want to forget him, the short times you had together? I don't ever want to forget the happy moments of my life, even if they make me sad in the present.

I'm really glad you said something. You're infinitely more awesome because of it.

Really this is a great song. I know it tugged at my heartstrings. I think mostly because vday is tomorrow. One of the reasons I hate Vday. I think the commercialization of it makes people feel so alone. "There's gotta be someone in the world for me. I can't be alone" Beautiful.

It's nice to see couples that really care for each other on Valentine's Day. I'm not jealous at all. However, it ticks me off when people drop silly, commercial gifts on each other, make the day a spectacle, and throw out empty hugs and "I love you"s. I don't have the meaning behind the day, but I hate what the practice has become.

It's a bit more frustrating to be my age (a few months from 26) and to not have found that one to settle down with. Not that I'm ready to do that right now, but ya...sucks when most of the ppl I know at my age are finding their "one".

We're all looking. Lord knows I am. I don't think a part of me will wither away just yet in that sense until I actually stop looking. I can tell that you're being hopeful and maybe even optimistic. I like to go back and listen to Seussical's "It's Possible" when I feel I'm out of luck.
